Innoson does not design cars. Innoson nigeria assembles cars already desgined in China.

I read Mech Eng.as well.If you are truly a mech Engr.or well versed in that field,you wouldnt av' made this statement,because from the look of things,you still view auto production with the eyes of impossibility.To you production is all punching.bending,and filling.How about casting/moulding.Do you even know jack about Foundry practices?.
BTW,i av' been following up Innosons activities,he doesnt just assemble as you ignorantly said,he undertakes over 70% production here in Nigeria.he has the facilities.you can make inquiries.

Do you realize Innoson has dedicated car component manufacturing factories on his site separate from the actual vehicle assembly plants? You need to visit that place. Do you know over 6,000 people are employed there? It's not a small operation.

I think he earned his stripes ....he ventured into the business because he felt he could do it. he did it. he successfully assembled suvs trucks refuse disposal trucks of different sizes. patrol trucks...buses of different sizes....
now he felt the need to design a truly Nigerian car. he successfully designed and built ivm fox and ivm umu.. with d umu getting it's name from. umudim. innosons village and Whr d factory is located..

Besides these companies you mentioned design and produce a product invited the government for a test, where this product/machine/weapon is put on display and it's full capabilities are witnessed, if the government is interested only then does the government place an order.
No be like this failed system of a sheet hole where a private company uses government money for experiments.
That's y we have stupidly rich people in this country and no one knows how they got their money.

This is exactly what is killing the economy of Nigeria. Monopoly!
No, they did not fall from the sky, they actually worked for it! Forget that those companies are big, till this day the are involved in tight competition. US government doesn't give them cash to experiment with, they develop and sell to them. That's why they are private!!
Innoson can't be the solution to an urgent problem, innoson needs years to perfect that trade, boko haram us not going to give you that time.
No sane government give military contact to a rookie.

Its quite a shame because, I believe, we have the men who can produce them.
Government needs to provide the right raw materials and machinery, coupled with the right training and re-training of the officers involved.
The officers also need to be properly motivated through giving them the right incentives so that they put in their best effort for the production of such weapons.
