I know one day,a day like this will come when Chad,Cameroon &Niger etc will begin to make mockery of Nigeria for rescuing us from Boko Haram. My only surprise is that it's coming too soon.

Aha, I have been saying this for years when the War started, that this callous man - in sheep skin was at the heart of the war - that he had and has only one intent - annihilate northeastern part of nigeria* now the president of another country has come out to say it again- I was not working on speculation I was looking at the antecedents available as it was happening - never again would a wicked man like this - whom uses the blood of the innocent to atone for his own wickedness - this man must not return O! If he does - you would understand the wickedness inherent in the heart of wicked man- and you would understand why majority are suffering and his enjoying- look at the innocent lives lost - when they could have been saved- and people bring sentiments and say his working- working my foot

THIS IS REALLY GETTING SCARY WITH WHAT US SAID AND NOW CHAD PRESIDENT, IT WILL BE VERY SAD TO FIND OUT THAT NIGERIAN PRESIDENT IS DEEPLY INVOLVED WITH BOKO HARAM. IT WILLBE SAD TO SEE GEJ GO DOWN AS A TERRORIST.
FIRST IT WAS US AND GAS MASK
NOW "After Chad engaged Boko Haram in Dikwa, Nigeria chased Chad out with the excuse that the Nigerian side planned to drop bombs on Boko Haram in Dikwa. Chad later claimed Boko Haram leader, “Abubakar Shekau” escaped at Dikwa with the Nigerian intervention"

I PRAY FOR NIGERIA

not entirely true.. I read that other article some days back. This one added salts and pepper. The newsrescue article said that they unilaterally started the renewed efforts to destroy boko haram. Where were they all this while? They waited until election period to start an intensified effort against them? Because they are trying to gain popularity for goodluck? Its a pity that the press wants to lower the morale of our soldiers in the name of politics. Imagine after giving so much effort to make a breakthrough someone else takes all the glory and no one believe that u are actually the hero. Ofcourse your morale would be grounded etc

Though to a large extent i agree with the post that it is not compulsory you take the name of your husband, at the expense of your father's name. That seems not to be a comprehensive stand on the topic, probably the research need to be widen and accomodate other view.
Firstly going into the Quran which is the primary source of law in islam Q66 vs (10) Allah presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them, so those prophets did not avail them from Allah at all, and it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter." (11)And Allah presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people.
from the above verses Allah Adresses the wife of prophet Nuh and prophet Lut throught their husband and not there father, meaning in today usage Mrs Nuh and Mrs Lut. In the second verse Allah even addresses a Pious woman through a tyrant husband- Mrs Pharaoh at the expense of her father's name or even her own name Asia.
With this I strongly believe it is not out of place if women changes to their husband name.

Nonsense report.

Today's offline version of the nation, carried the story of our defence chief, Alex meeting with Chad senior military officials where they denied all this poo.

Before the end of next week, boko Haram would have been brought to it kneel.

Hehehehehe, the cheapest propaganda ever. Am sure OBJ or one of these anti GEJ has reached this man. Why won't he come out with accusations when it is clear he has been providing safe haven for BH and Islamic extremists. When NA attacks BH, they cross over to Niger. I just don't know wht GEJ will not just permanently close that Niger bother even. Mtchewwww. "If you don't catch a thief. Quickly, the thief will catch you".

The plot thickens with a PROPAGANDA from a dubious APC source that definitely cannot reflect what the president of a neighbouring country would say EXCEPT he is OPENLY and unashamedly part of a conspiracy against the unity, peace and stability of our dear country.

Could that be the case of Idriss Deby

Sign agreement on no more killings, I will withdraw JTF, Jonathan to Borno elders
March 09, 2013

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan yesterday in Maiduguri, accused Borno State Elders of playing to the gallary over the activities of Boko Haram Islamic sect insurgency in the state, describing the situation as unfortunate.

Jonathan spoke during an interactive session with Borno State stakeholders at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Government House Maiduguri, in continuation of his two- day working visit to Borno and Yobe States, the epicentres of Boko Haram.

He was responding to requests by the Elders for the Federal Government to grant amnesty to the sect members as well as withdraw the military Joint Task Force, JTF from Maiduguri and other areas in the state during the second day of his working visit to Borno State..

President Jonathan lamented that none of the elders in the state had publicly condemned the killings and bombings being carried out by the sect members and advised them to put their ‘’house in order,’’ by talking to their children who had been causing havoc in the country to drop their arms against the country.

Buhari faults crackdown on Boko Haram
JUNE 3, 2013

Presidential candidate for the Congress for Progressive Change in the 2011 Presidential election, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North. He alleged that innocent civilians were being killed in the states.

Buhari speaking during a Liberty FM Hausa Service Programme, Guest of the Week, on Sunday in Kaduna said that Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished unlike the “special treatment” given to the Niger Delta militants by the Federal Government.

You are right!. That reuters article does not mention the bold declaration by the chadian president about taking unilateral action. And it also does'nt mention anything about how the Boko Haram leader managed to escape!

In another reuters article I just read - http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/03/04/us-nigeria-violence-shekau-idUSKBN0M029220150304 .. - (another possible newsrescue source) which contains relevant statements from the chadian president on the subject I also did'nt find those inflammatory statements from the chadian president.

All along some of us hav always known dat something despicable was going on.
Wit little or no achievement to point to, d Divider-in-Chief saw d insurgency as an opportunity to rally his political base of support by pitching Xtians against muslims 4 political gains. In his evil calculations & in a country wit so many bigots all he needed to do was to keep fighting d insurgents wit kid gloves & label d opposition as sponsors of terror & as people who were bent on making d country ungovernable 4 him & he gets political support frm d gullible band of ethnic & religious bigots.
Every patriot must join GMB, Asiwaju, Amaechi, Okorocha & all d progressives who cast aside their differences to raise d standard against d despicable PDP in dis great & noble crusade to take our country back frm d agents of division & bigotry. #IHaveDecided

Guy..No insults...God bless u for askin a qstions most in d GEJ camp wont ask!

Nice question but you should remember the following events:

1. The need to use the carrot and stick approach that was propagated by Northern elites including OBJ.

2. The dialogue committee set up to negotiate with book haram.

3. The soldiers deserting their post and running away from boko haram due to poor equipment and sabotage.

4. The refusal of the western world led by the United states of American to sell arms to the Nigerians military and block sales from other Nations when possible.

5. The various moles in the military sabotaging the operations of the military. Deserting a well arm and fortified barracks to allow boko haram cart away the Nigerian army arsenals.

6. The military tribunal needed to restore discipline back to the military that indicted over a 100 soldiers.

7. The procurement and arrival of arms from Russia, china and other nations that resulted in the success being recorded.

let support our president and Nation. Some evil forces are behind what is going on and they are almost succeeding with our help. They have spread lie, propaganda and half-truth but we must debunk all the lies by seeking the truth at all times and seek guidance from God. This time is a critical time and all hands must be on desk to defeat this evil.
