When Buhari ruled 30 years ago, did he change any of that ?

My initial comment said it all really There's nothing more to add than to concur because I stated the #Change we want that Jona'Daft didn't give us and the ways #Buhari will go about to bringing it instead. But since this is a new question from you, I'll answer it by making comparisons of events similar to what's happening now and how #Buhari tackled or changed it 30 years ago:

1. Just as now the country is being run-a-ground by the high level of corruption led by some cabals in the government of #Shagari if you remember (research) and #Buhari courageously headed a "coup" that stopped the total collapse of Nigeria and stated managing the economy and recovering stolen money making progress during its about 1 and a half year in power.

2. Just as now with Boko Haram, 30 years ago #Buhari had Metasene Sect ravaging in Kano and some North-Eastern states killing people home to home and he swiftly dealt with them so much that the fatalities and deadliness of the group of terrorists wasn't felt then and easily forgotten now because he took decisive actions to tackle them head-on.

3. He had every power and reasons to increase pump price of petrol and nobody, I repeat nobody can think of asking him questions or stop it but he didn't but instead sort ways to increase our local production.

4. On electricity, water, hospitals, schools and every other basic social services he would have done excellently well if he had more time than just 20 months to rule but some of his programs like the Compulsory Environmental Sanitation Exercise, WAI, 2nd stanza of the national anthem etc.

So you see we have similarities with what is happening now and 30 years ago and how #Buhari brought about #Change for a #BetterNigeria that's not corruption infested due to #GEJ the "President" being the chief of stealing. And the masses are not subjected to poverty and hardship due to the life of luxury that a few cabal wants to live.

It is safe to say every political office holder in Nigeria is a thief. I think the main reason they can't prosecute Tinubu is because they are all a bunch of corrupt officials living in glass house and dare not throw stones.

I think this your description is similar to how Boko Haram was when they started but if you leave them to their vices claiming your opponents are the ones sponsoring them they'll sooner rather than later become sophisticated.

So because #Buhari tackled the Maitatesne with purpose and not politicize it back then you now think they're not as deadly as Boko Haram.
