mulattoclaro: Stop this mentality. It's not good The Muslims are the most affected by the insurgency but you make it seem otherwise. and by the way, in case you didn't read, they didn't say they won't talk to him, they said only after elections so it won't be used for political gains (which GEJ is interested in) 2 Likes |

skyfall: Does King Mohammed of Morocco not live in this world? 12 northern Nigerian states beginning year 2000 embraced sharia criminal laws like stoning women to death for adultery, cutting of hands of petty thieves, etc. In 2001, Muhammmadu Buhari mounted the podium in Kaduna and exhorted Muslims to ensure that sharia criminal laws are practiced all over Nigeria. Boko Haram has said that it is fighting for a country governed with sharia criminal laws. In other words, King Mohammed's Muslim brothers in the north of Nigeria invited the Boko Haram problem to their houses. And some of them have sabotaged Jonathan govt's efforts to stop Boko Haram; because the sharia cause which Boko Haram is fighting for is what the 12 northern states tried to unconstitutionally adopt earlier. |

Gbawe2:truth they said is bitter, why do u want all these so called leaders to like him for? u stay in room not knowing a thing about what GEJ has done positively to Nigeria. All these people u mentioned knows very well Nigeria economy is growing fast under GEJ and he has stop importation of many foreign goods. GEJ refused to dance to their tune just imaging if country like North Korea, Oman, Vietnam could resist the evil intention of the west and move forward then we can also do it. to held with their likeness.... GEJ till Nigeria turns to African Dubai..... tell APC there's not vacancy in Aso Rock. 2 Likes |

CaptainAmerica1: It is alright for Buhari to speak at Chatham house for political gain but for GEJ it is wrong you mean! What political gain would talking to a Moroccan monarch give in Nigeria. I am saying the islamic connection cited as a reason should be condemned by we Nigerians and not to play into the hands of divisive elements 1 Like |

myproperty: There's no basis for comparison. Absolutely none. What stops Goodluck from speaking at Chatham house. Goodluck is reaching out to a particular set of people (Morocco) while Buhari spoke to the world. Remember Buhari is not even the president What political gain would talking to a Moroccan monarch give in Nigeria. Remember, Morocco and Nigeria share historical, cultural and religious ties through the Tariqa Tijania, Sufi form of Islam that prevails in Fez in Sokoto. The Muslim electorate, attentive enough to progress in the fight against Boko Haram in which they are the worst-hit victims, has resulted in complicated relationships with incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan. ^^ There's the political gain I am saying the islamic connection cited as a reason should be condemned by we Nigerians and not to play into the hands of divisive elements In summary: We don't want to talk to Jonathan because he's only pretending to like our Muslim brothers because of elections, while he abandoned them to their fate in the hands of terrorists for the past 5 years. We don't mind talking to him about security, but only after the elections of March 28. ^ Read and digest it well |

This is a clear indication that Orgnisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) are the real sponsors of Boko Haram to achieve their declaration of 1989 as written here: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abuja_Declaration_(1989) Very obvious to non-gullible Nigerians This is not just about bad government in Nigeria, it is about hidden Islamic agenda in Nigeria, Nigerians wake up!! The election is about ANTI-CORRUPTION, PERFORMANCE, ECONOMY AND SCORECARD in the last six years of Jonathan's wickedness and evil. |

myproperty:This Moroccans are really moronic, a useless Arab country forming important. Fact is that Morocco has no influence whatsoever over Nigeria neither do they have any electoral value, GEJ probably wanted to discuss security issues cum boko haram terror with them since they are part of the Maghreb region where Al Qaeda, Isil & boko haram are sharing information, logistics & finance. Imagine such statement like they are America or Russia. It was this same condescending attitude about hosting afcon that made CAF to ban them. Egypt that requested for Nigeria's cooperation in fighting terrorism in Africa is even more advanced economically, militarily & influence. What nonsense!!! |

The most derided President south of the equator. For good reason too, I might add. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. When the chroniclers of our nation's history finally sit down to give a true account of Jonathan's foray into the area of foreign policy, they are going to be challenged by repeated cases of ineptitude, inaction, and insouciance. For the truth is; never before has the collective psyche of Nigerians been beleaguered and battered by the contempt others openly express but also once out of ear-shot. If by some miraculous feat Jonathan is re-elected again, I am going to have to review my unwavering fidelity with Nigeria. #StormsOffInAHuff Moroccan King snubs President Jonathan, rejects telephone conversation over election Source: http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/178106-moroccan-king-snubs-president-jonathan-rejects-telephone-conversation-over-election.html |
