anonimi:Apart from the Minister of Agriculture who actually merits his appointment, which other appointment had Jonathan made to the Yoruba? Even worse is that he has imposed unwanted leaders in the SW, reminiscent of the 'Operation We tie‘ crisis in the Western Region circa 1960's. How can Jonathan empower criminals, thugs, drug traffickers and ex-convicts like Bode George, Buruji Kashamu, FFK etc. and claim to have the interest of the Yoruba nation at heart? I'm glad you have taken the first step in acknowledging that Jonathan has COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS (competence related and not accent), so now you can leave GMB's accent alone. |

anonimi:You must think you're talking with people of the same IQ as you! The news you've posted there clearly stated: "Vice president Goodluck Jonathan yesterday capitulated to public pressure over the public declaration of his assets as done by his boss, President Umaru Yaradua as he made public his assets declaration to the Code of Conduct Bureau". 1. It was when he was the VP. 2. He did it under public pressure 3. He was asked to declare his assets after becoming president and he said he doesn't "give a damn" Please think more than twice when you argue with some of us here. We are not what you are. |

Why are people so subjective in their judgementS? Don't you follow trends in the house of Reps? The speaker of the house was supposed to be given to a south westerner, but because of individualistic personal gain, the reps deprived us of the right, now you are blaming jonathan for that miss. It is better u people keep quite if you have notin tangible to broadcast. JONATHAN HAD PROMISED TO IMPLEMENT THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE NATIONAL CONFAB WHICH WILL FAVOUR THE WEST. LET MASSIVELY VOTE FOR HIM SO THAT WE WILL BE HAPPY. |

anonimi:LIAR! Why do you lie through your teeth at every opportunity? The same article you quoted stated that: 1. The late President Yar'adua was the first to publicly declare his assets, the fact that he is now late does not give you the latitude to cunningly claim GEJ is the only living elected officer on record to publicly declare his assets; 2. Jonathan failed to declare his assets as VP even when his boss had done so. Jonathan Ebele Goodluck was forced to declare after refusing several times to do so, in the light of the fact that his boss did so too. Bottom line: The issue being discussed is Jonathans promise to rectify his marginalization of the Yoruba nation in political appointments, not asset declaration. Stop shamelessly trying to derail the thread. |

anonimi:Yar'Adua did it. Or for the fact that he's no more takes the glory away from him? Why did Jonathan who declared his assets under pressure in 2007/2008 is suddenly shying away from doing same as president? We all know the answer - It's because he has stolen a lot and he still plans to steal more. That man is a dunce at best!

PassingShot:You are so DAFT and unintelligent, really ![]() Yar'Adua set the pace. Jonathan followed. Others REFUSED to follow since 2007. Then in 2011 you expect Jonathan to FOOLISHLY do something no one has folowed his TRANSPARENT footstep for four years ![]() Do you see ho CLUELESS you are Why would a team have their players tied one arm behind while the opposing team is free to use both hands? Why are we so DUMB that it is easy to ride us like SLAVES by agents of DECEPTION with their baseless propaganda? Barack Hussein Obama, POTUS was in a similar situation about campaign finance. Obama Campaign Gets in the Super PAC GameAs I have shown & said many times, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a PACE SETTER in several positive aspects of our socio-economic and political landscape but is unable to appropriately CALIBRATE his message to comprehensively reflect all the better better things wey im don dey do since. That leaves plenty of room for the FRAUDULENT opposition to exploit our very gullible fellow citizens. |

Political Appointments: Jonathan’s Anti-Yoruba, Will Not Get Support From Southwest In 2015 President Goodluck Jonathan might have to look beyond the southwest for votes in 2015, if the words of the National Coordinator of Yoruba Youth Alliance (YYA), Jackson Ojo, are to be taken seriously. Speaking at a press conference in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, Ojo described President Jonathan as the foremost enemy of the Yoruba, who does not have the interest of the region at heart. Ojo also told the president not to be deceived by those parading themselves as Yoruba leaders and promising to deliver Southwest votes to him in the next general elections, because they will fail. He was apparently reacting to assurance given to Mr. Jonathan by some Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains from the Southwest led by ex-convict, Chief Olabode Goerge when they visited him recently in State House, Abuja. According to him, “the Yoruba people are worse hit in the power sharing and political office holders under the present administration. No Yoruba man can be found in the list of 20 top political office in the country. “We’ve not had it so bad as it is being experienced under the present administration of Jonathan. Even during the worst and satanic government of the late General Sani Abacha, some Yoruba participated and there were adequate representation. It was the same story under General Abdulsalami Abubakar. “Despite the fact that Yoruba did not vote for Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in his first term, Yoruba was still appointed to hold some political positions, even under late Musa Yar’Adua, we were still adequately recognized, but now it is not so again. “The election that brought President Jonathan to power in 2011 saw the Yorubas voting for him massively even not the way we voted our own Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Despite that fact, the Yorubas are nowhere to be found in Jonathan’s government. The Yorubas are now tenant because we are not partaker in the present government,” he said.

I don't how appointing someone from my tribe will put food on my table. Absolutely useless. We need constand power supply, flowing water taps, good roads, better education and health system, security, employment opportunities etc, and not appointments that benefit just the individuals with their families and friends. You will not be re-elected. |
