INEC Further Extends Final Date For PVC Collection by 1MCN(op): 5:29pm On Mar 08, 2015

Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) has extended the distribution of the Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) by two weeks .

INEC says the exercise will continue across the country until March 22, 2015.

The commission had on February 9, extended the PVC collection date to March 8.

In a statement by INEC’s Secretary, Mrs Augusta Ogakwu, said the rescheduling of the 2015 general elections from February 14 and 28 to March 28 and April 11 made the elctoral body consider the shifting of the collection date.

So far, the electoral body said it had achieved 78 per cent distribution of the PVCs across the states.

Nothing will still change...the adamant one's who do not one to vote will still not go for their pvc's....gud move though!

What's the point of having a dealine in the first place? With all the money that's been allocated to INEC can't they just have outlets across the nation so people can have access to them 24/7. What if one turns 18 May 25th, does that mean he/she can't vote?

It is definitely a great move by INEC.
Please for those that are yet to obtain yours, you now have more time to collect yours and vote in CHANGE.
Even though some people think we are referring to the change conductors give out, let them know that the Change simply means borrowing Thunder Balogun's powerful left leg and booting out GEJ.
