Nawa for this forum. Anything muslim people a quick to jump to insults and accusations. I have read the comments and honestly the so called intolerance of muslims is nothing compared to the comments made here.

For some unknown reason I dont believe the OP's story because I live in the north and I have never witnessed such incident. I once gave the centenary note in my village all they said is this is "Kai Hajia wanna kudin yan abuja ne" meaning this money is for abuja people infact some thought it was the CEFA.

Proper enlightenment and education was not done across the country before the introduction of the new notes, so it is only natural to reject something you dont know and it takes some time getting used to it.

For those intolerant beings who get worked up about anything Muslim or north, abeg no kill una selves. Your demeanor, utterances, actions and behavior doesn't show you are any better than the Muslims and northerners you so love to castigate. Always forming am better than you/ holier than thou.

Can you prove that this story is true because only a mad person will do such. The Arabic inscriptions on our notes don't even have Arabic meaning. Ask anyone that can read Arabic and they will tell you that you need to know how to read Arabic and then understand Hausa before those things will make any sense to you.

More than 80percent of nigerian muslims are not even proficient in the arabic lang. cos they are only taught islam in arabic lang. & not the entirety of all arabic language aspects. So very few muslims can communicate fluently in the lang. even in the north where i'm based.

These muslims are only being intolerant; of which intolerance is actually part of islam.
