Buhari can keep his change
You decide based on something that happened over 30 years ago. If you wanna decide, decide Base on what has happened in the past ten years and it's still happening. That's is common sense.... Obviously , which isn't common

Are pple sayin dat afta buhari ruled den GeJ. Or wat ? So many hv ruled so you total d problems of d past gov of unemploymnt to place it on gEj. So if buhari entas now re ur sayin he wil solve all problems its purest lies
So there was no unemployement before Buhari ruled abi? He's the one who came in and kicked out 70,000 previously employed people. Anyway, we have been blaming opposition since, lets blame GEJ's own on opposition jare, he gave people jobs but opposition snatched it from them

Which ones?
The first headline was 1986. The other two about Fela were 1978. As an avid Fela follower, I remembered vividly coffin for head of state was the album in which Fela yabbed Obasanjo and Yaradua (snr) over the roles they played in the death of mama Funmilayo Ransome Kuti.

The others I can't verify but could be 1984-1985 as op stated. Dr. Michael Omolayole was NECA president between 1980-1985.

Dumb-ass people! Fela's mum WAS NOT assaulted during Buhari's regime! PDP should stop these stupidly crafted lies! Someone cropped up newspaper cuttings without showing the dates and some gullible clowns are already making their political choices based on these!

Buhari we want, Buhari we will get, Buhari will be sworn in on May 29 2015 as President of Nigeria!

Enough of the clueless, direction-less, vain, corrupt, ineptly irresponsible, clannish clown!

God bless you, discerning man/woman! Some relatively young members here just believe everything. Anyone who is above 40 years (or who is younger but follow history) would know immediately that the picture about Fela were NOT during Buhari's tenure! But we know them, bereft of superior arguments and ideas, they resort to lies! And unfortunately, the lazy and the gullible, who can't research beyond youtube music, will believe this thrash and lies!

BUHARI IS NIGERIA'S NEXT PRESIDENT WHETHER OR NOT THE DEVIL AND HIS ILK LIKES IT OR NOT! Enough of cluelessness!

Stop giving senseless analogies, my point is clear-cut. We don't need to go into the past to find Jonathan's failures, they're right here, right now staring at our faces, the world is also pointing it out for you guys to see.

If you're trying to dissuade people by comparing an era that was clearly a paradise compared to what there is today, they you must have the reasoning of a goat.

Mr. Man, please check your country's history! Those pictures are lies! The event never happened during Buhari's regime! We know our history!!! The daft poster clearly hid the dates of the cropped newspapers. We know well that Buhari was not Head of State when Fela's mum was assaulted and later died. Buhari WAS NOT Head of State throughout the tenor of Chief Michael Omolayole (whose picture was used)- he was President from 1980-1985. Fela's album 'Coffin for the President' was released well before Buhari became Head of State!

Are you lazy, daft, or just gullible? Choose one!

Even if you were not born at the time (or too young to know), Google makes things very easy! Just do your research before going mad on some funny lies!

BUHARI IS NIGERIA'S PRESIDENT, BY THE GRACE OF THE LIVING GOD, WITH EFFECT FROM MAY 29, 2015! FATHER LORD WILL NEVER ALLOW US CONTINUE UNDER THIS CLUELESS PRETENDER CALLED JONATHAN! NEVER!

Nigerian population then was 83 million in 1984...so your logic makes no sense. We are double that population now, but employment is more than double...unemployed youths are in their millions now, compared to 70,000 unemployed back in 84.
I am not defending any here, I am rather telling you that for you to get which had higher unemployment, you have to find the percentages of both times and compare.

Rubbish! OP Stop your campaign of deceit. Why didn't you show us the dates on those papers. Those of us old enough know that Fela's Mum died in 1978 during OBJ's regime. How come like AIT you mischieviously displayed newspapers without visible dates misinforming young people that it was between 1984-85. You "cleverly" brought the worst newspaper headlines from God-knows-which-era to decieve the public. Bloody e-thug!

You have the right to ask questions but don't abuse that right, to the best of my ability to see clearly some of the stories have buhari's name and pictures including his well known policy of using troops to force down prices. I can only see little now because I am using phone I will log in with my system later for clear view. Point of correction I don't need do any research its you who need facts and evidence to prove the op wrong Mr old man.

70,000 DEGREE HOLDERS WERE UNEMPLOYED THEN ACCORDING TO THE PAPER. HOW MANY DEGREE HOLDERS ARE UNEMPLOYED NOW ??
What was d population of Nigeria then and now? The present has tripled it
Compare how many tertiary institutions there was then and now? The present has also tripled it
Compare how many were educated then and now the diff is way too much
So what's ur argument?

Even in the whole area. I know that area like the back of my hand...I have stayed there for 30 plus years now. Even if they parked all the way from Stadium, to shitta, to Akerele, to Masha, to Aguda, it can never take up 10,000 cars. Stop feeding people false information.

The question you need to ask yourself are:1. What is the percentage composition of Nigeria population then? 2.What percentage of Nigeria certificate holder is 70,000 then? Without these info both you and the op are just putting the cart before the horse.

Sir, a little Google search tells me that in 1984, Nigeria has a population of 81.78 Million. so its very impressive if during this period, we got only 70,000 Unemployed Degree Holders. Nigerian youth will give anything to have this kind of statistics now, don't you think ??
Am not talking about Nigeria's population then, but the no of people who ventured beyond secondary education then. Compare 700000 with the number of graduates we had in the early 80s and u will see it is a huge figure
