You have given people ball without a goal post to score, hence people will shoot blindly.

Let's know the kind of area you stay, the kinda of car you like, is it for family size or you alone then we will recommend

The car will be for a young Bachelor who uses the car for going to work and other routine stuff.

I think Toyota brands are cool though. Highlander or Camry. huh
Re: Best Car To Buy With N1.5million? by AutosBay(m): 6:19am On Mar 12, 2015
A Toyota Corolla, highly fuel efficient, zero maintenance cost.

No need for this post because you have already made your choice. So go with your mind. I doubt if 1.5m will get a good Highlander, it depends on the year though.

Don't mind AutosBay, Toyota if serviced or maintained with OEM parts are the most expensive cars to maintain.
Corolla is rated the second cheapest car to maintain behind Honda Fit in North America where there are good roads with no potholes but certainly not in Nigeria with our God forsaken roads.

Let's not be biased when helping people out, autosbay is right to have voted the corolla especially the 2003-2007 model year, that ride is one tough moda4ka will go anywhere and everywhere but op stay away from sports version as the sideskirt and bumpers are closer to the ground pass an uneven road and kiss the perfect shape good bye. The only annoying thing is blandness of this cars when you park ur car and waiting for someone let's say like 10mins, there is nothing to fiddle with or try to know how things work TOYOTA = blandness.

I would love to recommend a
VW Passat,
NISSAN teana, maxima, altima
HONDA accord EOD 05 or DC 06 and 07
Or just get ur self a 2005 honda CRV drives like a car and looks like an SUV reliable and good.

With N1.5m you can get a 2005 Accord EX I4, or 2005 Nissan Maxima, 2006 Mazda (though V6 but fuel efficient) and 2004 VW Passat or better still 2003 Audi A4.
Camry and Corolla are no doubt fuel efficient but you will be bored of your car in no time.

Tough one

Dollar has driven car prices up and car sellers are taking a lot of advantage

Maybe a 2009 Camry

Re: Best Car To Buy With N1.5million? by Chynx(m): 1:50pm On Mar 12, 2015
Whatever you do, stay away from Nissan Altima 2.5S (2002model). This vehicle almost killed me with series of complaints...especially electrical; including the fact that it has not ABS!

I have been breathing fresh air since I sold it and got myself a 2006 Toyota Corolla (Bank Type). No sweat at all. grin

My 2 cents.

Toyota make the most reliable cars.

Additionally any spare parts that you may need for a Toyota vehicle are easy to source and cheaper than most.
