With N1.5m you can get a 2005 Accord EX I4, or 2005 Nissan Maxima, 2006 Mazda (though V6 but fuel efficient) and 2004 VW Passat or better still 2003 Audi A4.
Camry and Corolla are no doubt fuel efficient but you will be bored of your car in no time.

Passat and audi A4 should never be on this list.

The basic difference lies in their engine sizes respectively; 3.0 liters, 3.3 liters and 3.5 liters. You didnt talk about the RX400h and RX450 which have 3.5 liters engine capacity.They are all V6 engines.
The Chinese made a Toyota Harrier in 1997 which looks like the lexus RX 300 but it has a 2.2 (4 cylinders) liters engine which was later upgraded to 2.4 liters (4 cylinders)
RX 330 and RX 350 both have the same body (physical looks) and are of newer models than RX300.
The RX300 is from 1998 - 2003. The 1998-2000 model have an all red cased tail/ back light while the 2001 - 2003 models have an all transparent cased light.
Furthermore, the RX330 model is from 2004 - 2006 with an all transparent cased tail/back light. The RX 350, 400h (hybridized) and 450 came from 2007 till date.

This quite helpful. I am zeroing in on RX330. Does it have bluetooth, navigation, and i am looking at the latest edition of it before 350. What is the maintenance like. I heard the shock is pneumatic and damages easily. Please throw more insight.

Its possible to get one with all the whistles and bell u need but before you buy that car (Rx330) there are 2 things I will tell you

1. That car has a lot of electricals, if you plan to give it to an average joe mechanic, he will mess the car up

2. Some of those model come with AIRs, its a suspension system making use of air not normal springs, so when buying stay away from AIRs suspension look for the conventional suspension. If the AIRs suspension fails, it cost money a lot to fix not to talk of meeting an expert to fix it.

You can contact lomomike for further advice, he uses one and knows the different trim levels

There's no 2005 C230 4matic. It's either a C230 Kompressor or a C240 4matic.

Dear OP. if you search online about camry and corolla faults and the consumer dissatisfaction. u will end up not buying a car. If it is toyota,honda,hyundai or even mistibushi that clicks to your heart at the car mart just buy it. Nissan,Hyundai are good products too but Nigerians underrate them. Wishing u good luck and a major problem free vehicle.
