Expect someone to soon use this photo as "evidence" that we were helped by the west in defeating boko haram.

Videos of our gallant troops chasing boko haram scums back to hell, I have to say I loved the videos until a big argument started between two soldiers, if you can hear and understand pidgin you'd know it was a very serious argument and also the soldier recording was speaking what sounds like Hausa and not English

Wow! This shouldn't have been loaded to the net. undecided undecided

Do they normally fight like this?

The officers and non-commissioned officers leading these men need a hard "spanking".

Does this look like fighting to you?

The guys are shooting celebratory gunshots. Nothing melodramatic.

No they're engaging something.

Even if that was the case, why are they allowed to do that?

There's a lot of wrongs in that video.

Don't worry. When we finished defeating Boko Haram we are heading to Townships to flush out the primitive Zulus and Xhosas.

bro, i don't see anything wrong with that video. the town has obviously been cleared . notice plume of smokes behind the convoy and around the surroundings in the video. i played the video for our aboki and he said the same thing, that they have chased boko haram away from the area.

they are just providing suppresive fire in case the enemy has regrouped and wants to spring up a surprise attack. it's normal

except for those two.

there's nothing wrong there. that town has been cleared and the,men are just mopping up while suppresive fire is provided to scare the enemy.

It's a mixed bunch - soldiers and militia.

Taking a closer look, notice that there are parked tanks.

It seems to be a mixed unit moving through an area that had just been fought over.

They did engage "something" that may have returned fire.

The videographer is not a soldier.

The big-foot MRAP and the MOWAG are staffed by soldiers.

I believe that what we are looking at is a mixed unit moving through a cross-roads town.

At the end, the videographer got decked (because he brought a camera to a heated argument.) The distorted images we saw at the end of the video was because the camera was in his pocket (a cell phone camera).

The video was by a militia man that prefers to speak Hausa rather than pidgin or English. Folks like him would love the video, and he can show it to his friends back home (somewhere in Yobe state :-) )

There seems to be uniformed soldiers walking around.

Taking a video or pictures is not a problem, sometimes guys who are off duty will accomplish units to the front or on patrol to take pics.

But why aren't they moving in formation like they're supposed to, also it looks like they're just doing whatever they like.
