Sometimes I attend interviews for jobs I am not interested in but in other to understand the company in case I may want to work there sometimes in the future or just because I want to build myself in job processes (Like updating my website www.nairamode.com for job processes..

During those moments I ask very valid questions like:

1) What plan do you have for your staff?
2) What is the growth trajectory for staff?
3) What kinda staff can they not work with?
4) What is their annual sales or profit like?
5) and what are their challenges? etc. This surprises them all of the time.

Normal things we are meant to say at interviews if everything were right and we are not desperate for jobs and we are not bothered about our proud interviewers who would start taunting you.

Sometimes, I tell them what I feel is wrong, what will work and wont work. Lol you get?

At the end of the day I may tell them that I have very good people I can recommend for the job and I have gotten positive feedbacks with his kind of strategy many times.

Its cool what you did and I would do it given the situation.

That they expect me to hit the ground running. I just looked at her, I laughed. I asked her what about my accommodation, she said that I am expected to cater for my accommodation in the new place and new town and if I don’t meet up the target the first month that I will be fired. At that point I got so bitter with her nasty attitude, I told her point blank that the electronic product isn’t a premium product and for me to market that product I need to study the market and competitors. As an igbo man that understand business and street marketing. I need to taste the waters. ..

To cut the long story short…I told her that I am not interested in her(their) offer. She was dazed and surprised. Maybe she have been used to people been desperate for jobs and enslaved, as for me hell no!!! I went back to my office. Now the question I want to ask is that have you ever rejected an offer that is ridiculous and enslavement job in from of the interview person?
Let’s talk about it so that those looking for job should understand what dignity and ego means, but this should be only when you have a job at hand.

@post - ideally they will have done a market survey before hiring marketers to either waste their time or get themselves blown up. Even a security analysis first and probably clearance from regional security agencies before sending anyoen there. Otherwise if anything happens while you are on the job your family should sue them to Timbuktu

I had an experience with a money doubling firm about a year ago.... D package was too attractive to be true... deposit money and get 100% profit monthly. I was made d Chief accountant, issuing receipts 2 people who have made deposit to a nameless account domiciled in a New generation bank. I felt if it were 4 real den banks won't be giving only 3% interest 2 dia customers. I googled and couldn't find d organization's website, I wasn't given an ID self. some greedy people rushed in with dia millions.. After 3 days I just picked up my suit, went upstairs and told d Boss I was leaving, he instantly increased my salary, I still told him my conscience won't allow me work here cos I don't no where d damn money goes...DAT was how I left......Months later, d main guy was arrested, he is still in Jail as I write dis piece

Nobody should take this job no matter his/her condition. They are asking you to sell an unknown product in a place where you don't know anybody. Worse, your salary is tied to your target. No target no salary.

Their target is unreasonable even if they are selling SUV. You can't raise 150M for an unknown product in 6 months sef.

Honestly, what some people do is slavery and not a job. If at the end of the month you and only feed and pay for transport going to work. Hmmmm, check it. If you are badly treated at work without respect but the pay not bad, manage it. if badly treated at work and the pay not enough to feed and pay your basic expenses, leave the job especially if it does not allow you to move out as to search for better offers.

Mongoloids(Chinese, Lebanese and the likes are just thieves in our country).
