i remembered at PHIA last time we visited, my colleague and me
we called the pickup guy whom we really havent met and he told us to just walk out of the airport,
on our way out, a short dude who noticed us trying to dial a number says "are you the one"

he presented himself like he was the one we were talking to over the phone and next we were heading toward his vehicle.
i asked how he recognized us and he said he could remember the face.

well, it was my first time in PH and i drew my padi backward and ask him to redial the number.
lo and behold this smart dude turned back, noticed, and said, "you are calling my number"

fortunately, the guy at the other end picked and we realized we were with the wrong guy, with a waiting vehicle few meters away
that was how we changed course and you could read the disappointment on him face.

God saved u guys. Y didn't u pple raised an alarm,wen u noticed he was d wrng guy?

@ all thanks for the Prayers,
He just started the Photography Class and the Contact he gave us was in Abuja that day, so we are not exactly sure where he went for the class.
We really don't know anyone within MTN to help us with the call Log.

Men! Thank God you decoded that subtle format, you guys would have ended up in a dingy forest.
My rule of thumb in Nigerian Airports is to look for registered brand taxis ONLY. Else I'll call someone I know in town.
PH Airport especially is notorious for Taxi drivers picking people up and robbing them on the way

Police is right about MTN not releasing info. There is a privacy agreement between subscribers and Telecom operators. Info is released ONLY on court orders. Meanwhile you can get the info if you have a close contact in DSS. Send me an email.

Nigerians wallow in ignorance most times because they just check "I AGREE" in every subscription, both online and offline, without reading it.


The issue is even if there is a privacy agreement, there should be a clause at least for such cases haba! This same mtn releases phone numbers to big men abi nor b mtn line my ex boss take track down the worker wen tiff Im millions all d way from lagos to east?

This is Nigeria where corners are cut. As long as you know an MTN staff who works in that section he can give you info based on personal relationship and mind you, it's unofficial.
