In 2 months time, the present FEC would be dissolved, and those appointed this month would have to be re-confirmed by the Senate, latest by June. Jonathan should have waited until the inauguration of the new Senate in June to effect any cabinet changes.

It's quite laughable that the president thinks a cabinet reshuffle, less than 2 weeks to the election, would sway the electorate. Its a little insulting, to be honest.
