It's been confirmed in several polls/reports that Ameachi is the best in Nigeria and that means he's the best in the South South.

The worst according to reports is Delta state's Oduhan.

Nobody should deny my state Gov.,Godswill Akpabio the position of the worst governor. He worked to earn it. This is a man that has failed glaringly. Akpabs is consummate sponsor of murders and kidnappings. Amaechi remains the best.

I live in Port-Harcourt also.

I don't talk with sentiments, i talk with points.

1)Amechi deducts 30 % from salaries of pensioners in Rivers state since the day he joined apc... Ask any pensioner if you know any.
2)Is Oyigbo road passable once you enter from Abia state?
3)Have you visited Iwofe road, Akah road as of recent? My dear is not even kekerable not to talk of Motorable..
4)How much is Uniport paying as school fees now? Last weekend Treasure fm hosted an onair programme, the students were complaining.
5)Please how much is RSTU paying?
6)Who are the top managers in all the major investments in Rivers? Yoruba's. Have you ask yourself why?
7)River state indigene were chased out from Agip aptitute test last time it was held...
Judgees filed a case against Amechi over his unfair appointment in appointment of State chief judge.
9)River state University Vc, was he qualified to be Vc when he was appointed? Was he even a Prof by then?
10)All the radio stations in Rivers state are they campaigning for Amechi?
11)Amechi deputy governor is about decamping to Pdp because of the state party chairman of APC.

I have not seen anyone that mention Dickson of bayelsa but am very sure he will be the worst or better still him and Uduangha will battle for that.

It is however worthy of note that Akpabio stands out ONLY because of the SHEER QUALITY of his projects and not necessarily because he has done so much. He isn't so wonderful when you consider the enormous revenue he receives monthly. Furthermore, his projects are mainly in urban areas and we have no idea what he has done in the villages. Finally, building roads and flyovers may just not be the only job description of a governor; what about human capital development? I don't think anybody in Aba for instance (which is the closest city) would be considering relocating to Uyo or Ikot-Ekpene ONLY because of good roads.

Is it not better to complete a few projects properly to a high standard than to have several projects that will need to be redone in a few years because of their low standard?

Quality > Quantity.

At the moment it is unlikely that business people will be looking to relocate to Uyo en masse but there is a masterplan that the AKS government is working to that will make it an attractive destination in years to come. From what it was before they've done a lot of great things - you have to remember this state isn't even 30 year's old, it was a region neglected for a long time by the Old Eastern Region and Cross River governments and of course the military clowns who destroyed this country for everyone. The roads and the underground drainage system built to a world class standard are just the beginning.

All good things take time.


P.S.
Why do so many people talk as if Uyo is the only city with Keke Napep? If you've been there recently you'll know that they have been banned from many areas of the city.

Most of the South-south governors are receiving a much higher allocation that all other Nigerian States.If you want know if a south-South governor is performing or has performed,go and check what statutory allocation he has received while in office and compare it to what is on the ground. when I read about the kind of money that Amaechi has received while in office,I expect Portharcourt to be a "small London" by now

the most hype state, I wonder what imoke is using cross river federal allocations for? For 10 month I stayed in akamkpa no visible project for the largest and richest local government in cross river. The most hype state in south- south and nigeria at large. But I love the people paradise so much.

Best is Akpabio then Oshobaba. Akpabio is so responsible and concerned about the development of his state even though his tenure is fast running out.Worst is Rotimi Amaechi. He cares about nothing, very heady and has since abandoned the projects he started wasting the state funds on his personal interest and politics.

Amaechi is only enjoying old glory of yesterday not any more since 2014.
Amaechi of yesterday (we use to sing praises of) is no longer the Amaechi of today,
i dont know who is radicalizing him like boko haram.
