Once on my course was a guy who kept arguing against everything I was teaching. He was easily proved wrong but at the end to cover his embarrassment he said:

If you had anyone here who COULD do it them you would be using THEM and not me. (Lack of Airfares etc would make it MUCH more economical).

Egypt fell under Roman occupation and became a colony of Rome from about 300BC to 4AD/5AD when the Roman empire fell and Europe was plunged into intellectual darkness.

Thus the Romans lost the knowledge which they had learned from the Egyptians, marking the beginning of the dark ages (also known as the middle ages - a period characterized by stuntness in growth of useful world learning and advancement) until year 711 when the black moors of North Africa who were Muslims invaded Spain through the Strait of Gibraltar and conquered Spain, Portugal and the Southern Part of France, establishing the Islam religion in Iberia (Portugal, Spain, France). The moors took knowledge with them to Europe and brought again learning and civilization to Europe.

Till today, blacks are still suffering from this mentality and there has been several calls for blacks to emancipate themselves from mental slavery. You are no longer physically bound by chains but mentally you still think you are. However, some blacks are beginning to awaken to their original self. With knowledge, self-realization is restored, and there comes with it power of the mind and self.

While thinking on the question, i realised the industrial age started in Europe not very long after the europeans expanded and widened their horizons by venturing out of the eurasia continental plate to the New World(America) to surjourn. That was where they got many things as raw materials through dominance and cheap labours.

In Spain the word moro was used (like many others) as just a word for 'muslim' from whatever origin, and there were many different origins, including arabic, yemeni, syrian, slav etc all from further east.

This has been translated into English as 'moor' but in English and in other areas away from the Spanish context it has other meanings.

There is no worse a phrase in history than 'the moors ruled Spain'. Various Muslims ruled most or parts of Spain for nearly 800 years would be a much better phrase. 'Moro' directly translates best into 'muslim'.

Don't take Axum seriously. He is only mad at Africans because a lot of them do indeed bow down to Whites and have a vast inferiority complex when they should not have with all this vast and beautiful history. A lot of what he says about Africans not being proud of who they are is true. Why are black men and black women both chasing after whites as if they are God themselves. It gets ridiculous sometimes.

It pleases me sometimes though to see Africans who are into their own culture and KNOW about their culture and history, because I can confidently say, most Africans are indeed uneducated about their ancestors and their pasts.
