op As an Iphone 5 and an andriod user, It depends on what you want to do with your iphone. If you want to look posh and make poor Nigerians perceive you as being posh, then you should get an iphone. If you want a clear picture quality, a phone that never freeze, has a good music quality and expensive, get an iphone. If you want a rugged phone that you can download, uploade, hack, transfer via bluetooth to anyone, save files from the internet straight up et all, get an andriod. I believe Iphone is overhyped, nothing de there. Its only perceived as posh, thats all. Andriod beats it hands down. 11 Likes 3 Shares |

Gerrard59:[b] As a Pro in both iOS and Android OS and currently using iPhone 5s on iOS 8.2, HTC One M7 Dual SIM and GiONEE M2 1. Just like every other smartphone iPhone only require Internet connections for apps that require Internet access (to me data is never a problem, I share my GiONEE M2 network across every of my gadget) 2. iPhone 5s battery is not that good == I charge it every day some times twice a day though I always ON my WIFI 24 hours and it's my main phone I use for social network and receive calls 3. If you Sync your iPhone with a different computer with different Apple ID (via iTune) and try to Re-Sync it with another different computer with different Apple ID all your Apps and Music from the previous Sync will be deleted automatically (to prevent this, you have to use a third party Software like iFunBox to transfer Apps and Musics and other documents or media content) Note: No Jail Break required 4. You can't use Apps downloaded with a different Apple ID on your iPhone like you do with Android (i.e sharing of apps) though there is a Chinese Software that will let you use it. Note: No Jail Break required 5. With iOS 8 you can use Xender for iOS to transfer Pictures/Music and any other media files across any device that support Xender share e.g Android phones 6. iPhone 5s really take a great photo and it's the best iPhone ever designed (Jony Ive really did a great work) 7. Every app you install automatically integrate into the OS e.g If you tap and hold a word in opera mini, you either define the word with the inbuilt dictionary or pronounce/speak the word and can even speak the entire text..... 8. About iOS being user friendly, almost all Chinese Android ROM like MIUI, Lewa, EMUI and others are like iOS and have some better features than iOS .....................Above all I still prefer Android OS to iOS......................... The phone is good oh.. But I still prefer my BB, followed by my android before apple. Reason being that for any meaningful app on apple, you must pay, and without PC you cannot extract or input files unlike these other ones. But if its class or style, the apple has got it. My opinion though. 1 Like |

The iPhone is actually the best phone one could use. Easy to use and has the worlds most advanced mobile Os. Faster than all android phones. Spec is just awesome. It's 8mp iSight camera beats even Samantha 16mo camera. And yea you get loads of free apps I mean loads of free apps(all free apps on android are also free on the App Store ). You can always jailbreak and get cracked apps if you want to. And yes I use iMessage and FaceTime on my iPhone 6 and I'm a Nigerian who lives in Nigeria. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Blackbeauty: You are 80% right. Just that everything you can't do on your iphone, I can do on mine( even tho I don't often do them eg Bluetooth transfer etc). Infact I just got a song on my 5s from my friend using q10 and it went str8 to my iPod music. I believe in this our society, you need to really want to use an iphone to buy it. Not just class but the feel and ignoring d limitations. Honestly. I don't think I can use an iphone without jailbreaking it. Any way I have a used gold 5s for sale. And loads of iphone 6 in stock 4 Likes 2 Shares |

dazekid: I currently use a Samsung Note 1, I think it was released in 2011 and I'm rocking lollipop 5.0.2. Granted it's a custom rom but it still is lollipop. And I'm sure Android 6 will be made to fit in it when it becomes available. Not sure the same will hold for iPhone 4s. Im looking to try out apple though. And I'm eyeing the 5s so ur review helps |

If you can afford the two I will advice you get it , my own pros might be your cons , M8 is a good phone ,likewise the 5s but M8.sure does have a better battery and camera and if you are a geek , you can get to manipulate ur ways with the iPhone , I download music , share pictures and the Bluetooth works fine iPhone freak and crazy about HTC especially the One M8. And can't wait to lay my hands on the One M9 and iPhone 6 .Try get a 5s to check and see if you really want to have one . 1 Like |

Some people don't know how to review stuff. All I'm seeing is promotional stuff. Baseless boasting. Except for that lady Black beauty. Statements like "you haven't used a phone until you use an iPhone" or "only iPhone users will understand...."- these are baseless. Bring up practical, specific info not vague statements that cannot be accepted universally. 14 Likes 1 Share |

The line between ios and android functionally is pretty much blurred. Both os work similar and even the 3rd party apps that matter are cross platform. Be it whatsapp, facebook, twitter, instagram, wechat etc. Iphone has excellent camera, user friendliness, well optimized between hardware and software, secure and well designed. Cross platform apps on iphone are mostly superior. Apple also has the best software update schedule and mechanism. The limitations of iphone is it makes more sense to be on apples other hardware platforms to really enjoy the phone and apples services. Ios has apple imposed restrictions on how you source and use content. Android is robust and versatile but requires more spec (android code executes on a virtual machine, both Dalvik and ART since android relies heavily on java). Android is eaaily customizable, has active widgets, more apps (though quantity isnt always quality), sometimes comes with dual SIMs and usually support external storage expansion and usb host. Android also has a better cloud infrastructure through google services. So Android offers more customization and hardware options, while ios is better designed and easier to use. To the person who said android is open source: not entirely accurate. Google services are not free, and vendor specific drivers are proprietary. The open source version are custom roms lile cyanogen and AOSP . Hope this helps a little. A bit busy. 3 Likes |
