Gripen is a bit faster. Cannons effect range is beyond 2km. SAAF is a low altuide master.


F7 will run out first. Even fitted out as a bomber the gripen can match the F7. In a dog fight the better aglity of the gripen will insure it wins.

In terms of twin engined fighters

@agaugust is just like some of the people who thinks that just because the fighter comprises twin engine will be a better fighter than fighters with single engine. There are some of the aspects that will need to be taken into consideration. A twin engined fighter with poor avionics, detection radar ranger and weapon system will still be a bad fighter.

Iran is in trouble because it has been trying to enrich uranium for years. A process which todate is not complete. South Africa already has weapons grade nuclear fuel. Enough to make at least three nuclear bombs the size of the one that dropped in Hiroshima. At least.
