A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered
the Nigerian Communications
Commission and five others to pay the All
Progressives Congress N500m for
unlawfully shutting down the party’s
presidential campaign fund-raising
platform.
Apart from NCC, the other judgment
debtors are Etisalat, MTN Nigeria Limited,
Globacom Limited, Airtel Nigeria Limited
and Visafone Communications Limited.
Justice Ibrahim Buba gave the order on
Tuesday in Lagos.

i think the Nigerian judiciary system is beginning to distance itself from bn an appendage of the executive to an independent body.The rule of law cant operate successfully in an atmosphere of unnecessary interference from the politicians.
Im not an ardent supporter of the pdp but i wl vote for its aspirant come next week.however,i believe they overstepped their boundary by stopping the fund.i stand for fair play.
hence i do congratulate the the apc family on their feat.they deserve it.
