Got 15% from gtbank for supposed 365days only to see 360days in the alert.

I'm guessing it's their secondary market that was sold to me. Might be wrong though

How did you get to bid for yourself. After the mails sent to some account officers, they said I could put in my bid which I did. They make it look like primary bid only to give you from their secondary market.

Seems like they manipulated your bid.......Maybe you had a successful bid and they decided to ration down your rate.........But next time stipulate clearly your bidding terms and tell them to acknowledge the receipt of your instruction so that there will no excuse after the primary bidding process.....Always submit your bid few days before the auction..........Also let them know that you will be checking the bid result on your own,as in let them know you are fully aware of the whole process.........

Clearly they don't give people their primary bids but go through the secondary option.

Please I don't understand where you guys get those rate from cos I went to first bank today and was given 10.5% on 2 million for 360 days which I refused,I went to fidelity as well and was offered 11% for 360 days from the primary market,I went UBA and was told its 11% too.So please where do you get your rates from cos I really need to invest my funds pls and I need a good returns.When I told them what I read online and even showed them,they said its not true.Am so confused right now!

I think you should complain because such conduct is unethical........Meanwhile have you @all heard about the plane crash in Southern France......Such a pity that 142 passengers and 6 crews had to die helplessly........May God grant their soul eternal peace.......Check the link below and give a serious complain and you should also mention the name of the officer............

Please somebody should help me on this tread.Iam just coming from GTB and was offered 9.5%.Please I don't understand a thing anymore.The guy laughed as if I was dreaming when I said 15%.They asked which planet people are getting that much.Even when I showed him the tread he still denied it.What is happening please?

the form i filled with first bank today for the treasury bills didnt even have a space for one to quote his preferred bid. they said one cant do that! i am thinking i need to check elsewhere where i can place bid at my terms. any ideas?

Please angel082 how do I bid for 15% when they already told me their rate.Am I not going to submit the form to them? Will they treat it at all? Won't they just trow is somewhere? That is the rate all of them are calling in same bank different branches.Are they doing it on purpose to discourage people? Honestly I need that investment badly but 10% is not worth tying 2m for one year! Am at a cross road here cos I don't want to touch my capital! Hhhhmn!

Maintain your stand and Union Bank will definitely follow your instruction............There is no secondary market at Union bank but they can only advice you to do FD which you can politely decline............
