First of all, I'm a Nigerian and I do not support racism, it was very wrong for a fan to send this to him, but then the internet is where u get lots of things, if u can't take it then stay off the social network.

If u people actually watched the match, then u will realize EMENIKE truly behaved like a monkey. Yes the fans were booing him because he was playing poorly, but is he the first person to be booed by the fans? The fans are the ones that pay ur wages, u have to be tolerant as a professional footballer. Gareth Bale has been booed several times at Real Madrid, they even threw bananas at him, but he keeps playing. But what did Emenike do?

He tried to substitute himself just because the fans were booing him, (not even a racism chant). He became very angry and removed his shirt (like a real monkey), then went out of the pitch substituting himself. It took the efforts of his manager and officials to get him to calm down. Lots of superstars have been booed but they prove themselves on the pitch by putting up good performance. Ronaldo, Bale, Van Persie, Suarez, etc have all been booed but none of them behaved like a monkey.

I highly doubt similar behavior from a non-black player would have warranted being called "a monkey". no one would have gotten the joke if a fan called a non-black player a monkey. When you're black, that word (among other, more poignant racial epithets) remain in many peoples' front pockets itching to be used once a black man shifts more into acting more spontaneous, believing that somehow if only he acted more "civil" he would have overted the equally uncivil racist backlash.

There are many ways to vent frustrations of an athlete without reviving age old epithets. Maybe Emenike played foolishly, but that guy tweeted foolishly as well.

The guy tweeted foolishly, but hey, that might just be a kid behind a computer, that's whst u get from social networks. For me I don't rake such things online too seriously as people can choose to be anything online.

However, emenike acted more foolishly on the pitch. Just because fans were booing him because he played badly, he lost his head, removed his shirt and tried to sub himself. Which player has ever done that? He is a disgrace to all black players to be honest. If u watch the video u will agree with me. Better players like bale have been booed and called monkey while on the field, but they didn't lose their mind, they play on. The el clasico last Sunday, Ronaldo was booed throughout the match, he didn't lose his mind, he proved himself by scoring a goal. Emenike has a lot to learn
