Nonetheless, having once been an engineering student there, I can tell you engineering at CU is very competitive. In my class, the average Jamb score was around 230 (the notorious 2009 jamb year). The subsequent set had jamb scores averaging 250 thereabout. It even gets more interesting with WAEC grades. With all those loyola jesuit, kings & Queens college peeps, 4A1s and above is commonplace (for the record CU attracts best waec candidates in most states. In 2010, Lagos' best Waec student enrolled at CU. In 2009, Ogun's best student did. In other news, in 2012, two Loyola alumni led the set of 1200 graduates with CGPAs of 4.89 and 4.88 coming 1st and 2nd respectively). It's quite surprising that even in GSTs that are art-oriented, engineering students typically lead the entire set of over 1500 students with their scores from the e-moodle site. Hope this gives you some heads up

Yes I have many of my friends in Covenant. I should have even entered last year but I did not write JAMB. All my friends complain of the stress but they also say that they are enjoying the school at the same time.

Have you asked your recommenders if they've seen the email. Tell me, im having this same issue.

They are seeing a mail but they can not open it.

I think it is a general problem, i hope cu rectify it soon.

Thank you. They have finally replied me. I have sorted it. They assisted me in inputting the result after I mailed it to them. The only problem I am having now is the spiritual and academic recommendation email.

I have 285 in jamb and GCE result maths c6, eng-c6, crk- b3, econs-b3, govt- d7, literature-c4, biology-c6, food and nut- f9( didn't do the practical). Worried about my O level result, pls is it okay for mass comm in covenant university?

you go online to http://portal.covenantuniversity.edu.ng/onlineApplication/undergraduate/ to start your application. fill it with the necessary information and upload the required documents

but i would advise you to know when the change of instituition form is coming out so you can get it and fill it as soon as possible.

But with the recommendation, is it that they've received it and its not opening, or that they've not received it at all...

they recieve it but it is not opening.

thanks for the info, I just wanted to have an idea about the range. If the recommenders do not submit their forms does the application become invalid?

Also my jamb result does not yet have my photo on it, should i still scan and upload it?
do the recommendations also have to come in before the application deadline?

Maybe you didnt use a scratch card thats why your pic is not showing...
