Please house am in need of serious help....my samsung galaxy S5 is not charging,the moment i plug it,the charging indicator lite comes on(Red) which means that its charging but the truth is that the phone is not charging at all,instead its discharging at a very fast rate weda in use or without use,i just changed d entire charging port but problem still persist.

I do manage to charge the battery with a desktop charger but d moment i insert it into d fone den d batry starts goin down at a very fast pace.....please sumone shud help cos dis is getin me so angry.

abeg mak una no just view o,i nid help cos i dont wanna engineers use my phone for practical without knowledge of the exact fault.....one has already done that by changing the charging port but problem still persist.

pls i need first hand information on what to do.

i think ur charger is not good, or you are not using the original charger
try another charger

Try a different charger or find another battery to be sure.. If it persists, then it's def the charging port.
And give it to a good technician.. Cause these days once they open your phone.. It never remains the same

Bros, it is not ur battery or charging point but the charger u are currently using. Download this app and use it to verify the power of the charger. U need at least a 2A charger. Ampere is the name of the app

I have used d original S5 charger and also changed the battery but the problem still persist,maybe i will try a different technician as suggested.i just wish an expert can tell me what the problem might be so i can go to a technician and tell him straight to change dis n dat rather than having them playing their trying game on d fone.
