I can see sentiment in the votes from the east and south south. if we must move forward as a nation, we must stand for the truth and stop this childish sentiment. |

what this election shows us is that anytime hausa and yoruba agree on smtn, the whole nigeria has to follow that order...nigeria is nt one when only two ethnic groups can control the whole country |

The OP has talked with wisdom and as a patriotic citizen of the country,I wonder why you have to dig in his tribe and relating his words of peace with tribes. I see wisdom in his writings and I want all that wish a One Nigeria to keep off words relating to tribalism at this time especially as it can trigger anger, As I'm typing I'm listening to a very nice igbo highlife on 97.3 even though I don't hear a word,I still like it. We should be thinking of growing together in unity despite our diverse cultures,it will only give us an edge rather than when we think of seperation. Even in the civilized world despite the racism they can't do away with us. We are one Nation Let us sing the National Anthem and mean every word of it,cos indeed there were fallen heroes before we got here where we are Nothing not even these days politics is worth anyone sticking its neck.I won't even recognise Ibo,Hausa,or Yoruba anymore when its starts ,while their families are lounging in private jets only to come back and rule when all damage has been done to many families.. I remember how it was duuring the subsidy,Nigerians were almost set to war, I travelled from Lagos to Ilorin during the last weekend of the strike and saw hausas jampacked in long trailers and over 100bikes each carrying 3persons heading to the North, the govt saw choas about to start and dropped the fuel to 1 wat sef b4 it came down to 97,u see I can't rememba to be honest.that is how even the cause of the choas will not be rembered after D damage is done.only the scars will last 4eva. |

SweetyZinta:Stop deceiving yourself! There is no love in this country. The Hausa/Fulanis voted for Buhari for no other reason that he's of the same zone with them while those in the south and east voted for GEJ for the same reasons. If Buhari loses today, northerners will find southerners to kill. Where is the love ? |

Keneking:Its a BIG shame for you to write such a comment. People like you are some of those inciting hate and division in this nation Nigeria. Anyone who wins is a leader and father to all Nigerians regardless of where majority votes came from. Please spread the gospel of peace because if it gets Hot you will not be able to sit behind your phone or computer and write any more rubbish. |

Let's stop all this nonsense of Nigeria being one,we knw Naija isn't one. And who d f**k came here and said islam doesnt support religious bigotry and tribalism? The North voted massively for Buhari not because jonathan wasnt good bt because Jonathan is not a muslim and he is not a northerner. The Yoruba voted for Buhari not because the love him but because of their brother Osibanjo. Hoping dat something bad wud happn to Buhari on the long-run. But i av gat a bad news for em,if something happens to Buhari, the north wud make d country bad and ungovernable for osibanjo like the deed for Jonathan. Coming to East and South, the also voted based on sentiment becos Jonathan is a christian. I am sorry to say Nigeria is not ONE,the north say this when it favouring them and vice versa. But i have got a bad news,if Buhari wins the militants will return to creeks and if Jonathan wins another sect will erupt from the north. Shalom |
