I would prefer George Akume to Saraki

Akume joined the APC train around 2011 while Saraki joined just last year
APC also need to solidify their hold on Benue and Akume would be key

We need to squeeeze David Mark and any remnant of PDP out of the polity
you are right cos if Benue people are not careful,he's still coming again in 2019....Infact I think this democracy is for David Mark(1999 till date).

Yes, thats what I said.....whether they like it or not they will see me on Ibo politics for next 4years.

First, my inlaws distanced from APC because according to them it was Awolowo party....only cow herders (referring to Fulani) and amala and ewedu (referring to Yoruba) people should be members.....it is below Ibo to belong in APC.

They failed to assess risks and calculate forward that in the event of a NW/SW win at the executive, the legislative will be a crucial base from which to protect SE interest.

Now we are looking to distribute power and everyone has a horse standing on the line and ready to carry the weight but guess whose horse is again positioned behind the wagon? angry Ibo people don fail me again!

When Ibo reps and senators...all PDP and in minority need help from other zones to defeat a bill, na who dem go ally with now? The cow herders or the amala eater?

Ibo suffer head version II is about to start....and its all self inflicted, courtesy of Ohanaeze!

Exactly. And no one has raised a fuss about that for the last 4 years.
The Northwest can be given other 'juicy' positions within the executive branch, and the positions of majority leader, chief whip, and chairmanship of some key committees.

Word on the street is that Ekwunife campaigned vigorously within the grassroots of the senatorial zone, mostly courting women.
In fact, folks are saying that she would still have won even if she was in the KOWA party.

Since north is producing the president, SW the vice president, where will the next senate president go to. Dr Chris Ngige would have been the best choice but then Ekwunife PDP frustrated him out... what do you think my people as APC must produce the next senate president. Dr Saraki stands a better chance due to the role he played in scuttling PDPs opportunity of winning the election.
Since the igbos has closed their opportunity of having a short in the government setting, their place will be to another. North central stands a better chance.

Igbos will never be savvy in politics. Guess one can't eat his cake and have it. They already ate the business cake. They shld learn not to be dogmatic in reasons/philosophy. Igbos are more emotive than cognitive undecided

Re: Next Senate President by Nobody: 7:14am On Apr 01, 2015
I will most likely tip Dr Olusola Saraki for the position of the senate president since APC will most likely want to compensate the nPDP in the party. No matter how you see it, they contributed so much to the success recorded in the election. The nPDP had earlier requested for the VP but lost out to the Jagaban of the universe.

Exactly what happened, either Chris Ngige is getting old for the game, lacked the resources to campaign or it never occurred to him that the position of senate president could be up for grab. I expected Rochas to give him all the support but then he was busy with his own campaign for presidency/governorship... so sad that we will not have such a vibrant, matured and colourful politician on the seat.

Foolish slave of the fulanis, how has the David mark been senate president for the past 8 helped benue state?, the state still remain one of the poorest & under developed state in Nigeria. Compare all the southeast state with benue & the brown roofed Southwest state like Oyo, ogun, ondo ekiti & osun.
