You have no point. The case of Tambuwal is different from the picture you are painting here. Tambuwal was a member of PDP which had majority. The emergence of Tambuwal was only challeged because the position of Speaker was zoned to the South West, not North East where he is from.

Senate leadership should go to SE even if the beneficiary is from PDP. As it was done for Tambuwal from NW, should it it be for SE.

As it stands, if the position is zoned to the South West, I suggest it goes to Robert Boroffice from Ondo State. I doubt, since Olorunimbe Mamora, Ganiyu S. Olanrewaju, Femi Ojodu, etc who have experience are not going back, it would be given to Remi Tinubu who doesn't make any contribution.
It can also be given to Babajide Omowoarare from Ife/Ijesh in Osun State. Though he got there in 2011 and won re-election, he was once a legislator in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

You're brain-dead. Tambuwal didn't become Speaker six months ago. He only defected from PDP, under whose platform he became Speaker, to APC some months. Ndigbo put all their eggs in one basket. Yoruba's pattern of voting was such that if Jonathan had won and the PDP got majority in the House of Representatives, the South West would have the Speakership zoned to their region.

That is simply not possible, she is totally inexperienced to handle such a sensitive arm of government. Senator Bukola Saraki is the best option.
The Senate requires someone with a cool, calm, emotionally stable personality and firm individual that is well versed in the working of politics of the senate chamber and will command lots of respect amongst his peers.
The incoming government does not have time to be wobbling and fumbling, there is so much at stake for the APC. There is no to ways about it they must achieve.
