asha80:See let me tell you the difference between the Yoruba and Ibo... A Yoruba man is the most rational human being I have ever come across. A Yoruba man above all else will tell himself the truth, hence before other people know it the Yoruba man has a plan for his survival. On the other hand, the ibo man is a very sentimental being and quick to make irrational decisions even when faced with better facts. An example is Rochas, he gave ibos a reason he contested apc PRIMARIES and I think his reasons are very reasonable, rather than support him, the whole of ibo rather made him an object of ridicule. Another is when Jonathan came to anambra state and he told ibo people that have the most private jets in Nigeria, we told ibo people that is a blatant lie but you called us names, just a few weeks back NCAA released the names of private jet owners in Nigeria, please go and that list and do the math if ibos are up to 10%. you shouldn't allow people play on your emotions. We all have our strength and weaknesses, politics is not just for the ibo man. look at both tribes historically, while the Yorubas are republican in nature the ibos are egalitarian in nature. you are who you are, learn from it, become better. an alliance with the north will never happen or with the south south. you know that is the truth. the only tribe in Nigeria that has ever treated the ibo people fairly is the Yoruba nation. Till today ibo people are still fighting for abandoned property in the south south, while all ibo property in south west and rent was retuned and paid to the owners after the war. search your heart, you know all I have said is the undiluted truth. |

Chiddysville:And how have they fared by 'standing by what they believe in'?. Who told you Yorubas and Hausas too didn't have what they believe in? They were just more politically matured to know that in order to advance the political will of your people, some compromise are necessary. Buhari was normally known to be incorrigible and rigid so no one expected that he will merge with cunning Yorubas like Tinubu and his ilks. But then, he learnt that atimes to ascend to great heights, you need to stoop low. That simple fact is what eludes the igbo tribe and what keeps them where they are. |

lyntiffany:Yet Seggegs is working as a "marketer" of Orijin in Kingsley okafor's guest house as barman. Ichidodo is a proud engineer and has a Farm. Segun at over 30 still lives with his mum waiting Buhari to come stabilize oil price and probably dash him a farm. You see the live difference between Igbo and Yoruba?.

mikeansy:``northern candidate with a VP from south east ``. i wonder what will happen if this is done. The yorubas stand no chance of winning an election if they dont team up with either the north or south east. Their votes in this election didnt even count but na dem get mouth pass. imagine in 2019 when pdp restrategises and come up with a northern presidential candidate with a vp from south east, they will simply win the election with just votes from delta, rivers, kano, kastina. bloody cowards. |

mikeansy:Stop talking like an Infant. Its easier for South East to achieve this goal by quickly aligning with the West because When its your turn to produce the president the north will betray you as they dont trust you at all. Your folks colluded with PDP and unsuccessfully revolted in Lagos,i dont know how APC will swallow that bitter pill. You even have an Igbo as a commissioner, The Yorubas receives you with open arms but you keep seeing them as enemies . Kudos to Igbos who arent bigots but its a pity they form the minority. |

NewNigeriaMind:Ur thread go around and come to you. Two or three people cannot live togather except they agree. We are not there thats simply and you cannot stay in ur house to agree for everybody. South Africa is peaceful today because, the white and black people lead by Mandela signed, an agreement and honor it.Talk settle any dispute even btw brothers or husband and wife and not wat u think it should be not even by force. Nigeria will not be a different case. Unfair practise is what is keeping the country down. We must talk on a round table to agree. You build airport, seaport and refused to build for others even when it so so obvious that these people need them. Is that the Nigeria we all desire but refuse to work toward it. Buhari has a big work at hand, either to do away with the past or face reality of this nation, doing it right this time will send a new signal down to the ss/se part of Nigeria.. Time will prove just that. |
| Re: Again The South East Misfires by NewNigeriaMind: 12:40pm On Apr 01, 2015 |
Kingspin:Nigeria owes no tribe special considerations. Buhari will rule this nation as Nigeria president, not as president of a section of the country alone like it was with jonathan. Let me emphasize it again: AS THE PRESIDENT OF ALL NIGERIANS. SHALLOM |

ArodewilliamsT:The confab reports will be subject to APC control Senate. People calling Yoruba chameleon. Politics is never black and white. SS/SE were insulting the Yorubas and Northerners forgetting they will need their voters. |

Op, have it at the back of your mind that the Souteast didn't misfire rather they have made it clear to the rest of the country that they can speak in one voice . |

lyntiffany:Really? They are chameleon yet GEJ won in Ekiti state, got 40 percent in other SW states and was close in Ondo. They played the politics of not putting there egg in one basket, thats the real game of Politics. |

Jaydenphoenix:So when Hausa consistently voted Buhari from 2003 and he consistently lost, they had not misfired. But if SE votes for someone they believe will honor their interest, they misfire? Smh! |
| Re: Again The South East Misfires by cjrane: 1:56pm On Apr 01, 2015 |
Buhari has a chance to begin true reconciliation and development of the entire country. He can very well resort to the self destructive path of we against them. Nigeria shall continue to have one crisis or insurgency after another. Needless to say development will continue to elude it. |

| Re: Again The South East Misfires by omazus: 2:22pm On Apr 01, 2015 |
For the Yorubas it has always been about us and never about others. Never about Nigeria but about what we, the yoruba will gain. Hmmmm. Even the North has more sense of justice than you. They have proven it more and more time again. You are the scums without principles kaybams1: |
| Re: Again The South East Misfires by Gbawe: 2:24pm On Apr 01, 2015 |
cjrane:Buhari is not like that. He is a fair man dedicated to the emergence of an egalitarian Nigeria working for everyone. That is how he will lead and that is how his genuine supporters believe he will lead. |

Your point is the real definition of chameleon. Scatterboss: |
| Re: Again The South East Misfires by Scatterboss(m): 2:32pm On Apr 01, 2015 |
omazus:That's your problem. There are sizeable Yorubas in PDP that delivered for GEJ, and those in the APC delivered for Buhari. Whats the chameleon in this? The last time i checked, Fayose is a Yoruba man. |
