I have never been this critical about our armed forces logo not until I my attention was drawn to it by my colleague who is studying material science and explosive with me in NDA at PG level. At first I was like, its not possible but on a closer look, I couldn't believe what my eyes saw. My opinion is that that inscription should be removed...Nigeria isn't an Arabic nation, I doubt if most men and officers of NA know what such inscription means.
What do you make of this....what's your opinion?
Pls be objective!

It's supposedly called Nigerian Army!!! Not Arabic Army.

Why will it carry Arabic Writings on its official emblem?

Why should only a section of the nation be able to readily read what's written on the logo of the NIGERIA ARMY? Or do some folks possess the nation more than others?

Our Constitution stipulates English as the official language of this nation. Why the Arabic inscription on that logo?

Maybe some Army folks in the house will educate us.

With every passing moment, my doubt about this ONE NIGERIA fades away.

A lot of things need to be corrected in the system.

There is scarcity of bad news for them to celebrate. They have to look for something, somehow. Do you want them to starve?? cheesy

Expect them to create fresh threads about "islamic inscription on the naira" as well. We saw all these during the campaigns. One even said the National Assembly building look like mosques with their characteristic dome shape. cheesy.

There was nothing we didn't see during the campaign, all in a bid to polarise us along ethnic and religious lines, but in the end, commonsense still triumphed!! And it still will. smiley

God bless the Nigerian Army.
God bless President Mohamadu Buhari (GCFR).

More Jegaquine for TheWailingWailers. smiley

I know some wailers here are just waiting patiently to have Buhari goof so they could find their voices back and have a good laugh. The past couple of days have been really traumatic for them. cheesy

Baba, please, give these guys a chance to smile a little- stumble a little Sir. After all, they are Nigerians as well. Their happiness depend on your downfall. smiley

I voted for urgent removal of the Arabic Inscription thereon. But not bcause I am a Christian. But because Nigeria is not an Arab Nation. After all, we have 3 religions, not only Islam.

tmotmo: I will agree with you on this. However the following should also be implemented alongside with your suggestion: (1) Removal of all Crescent and/or Cross signs in all public Hospitals, Schools and other Government Buildings and Document (2) Declaration of Sundays and Fridays and not Saturdays and Sundays as weekly resting days. This could show that the Country is not been Christianized as the present Saturday and Sunday weekend do not allow non-Christian to have full benefit of dedicated worshipping on other days. Example of this is the Friday Service by the Muslims and other days that might be for traditional worshippers. Alternatively, maybe we should scrap this weekend stuff/ religious related holidays and do like they do in developed countries, and workers get paid on the basis of hours worked for. I can bet it, we might be a more productive Nation. NB: Please don’t hide your response on the basis of "this what our colonial masters handed over to us". Remember, that colonial were not here alone, they came with the CRUSADERS otherwise called MISSIONARIES.

My bro, I don't seem to understand the frauds being perpetrated within this system. Many things aren't right.

The Nigeria Army Logo has NO BUSINESS carrying Arabic writings. It has NO business.

I just can't care less. I support the total separation of state and religion. This isn't how nations are run.
