Why don't you read the " book why we struck ". Read it and understand. I read why we struck and I understand Chinua's point of view and his angle but you need to understand that for the igbos to be something today a lot of adjustment have to be made, and some story in Chinua Achebe book have no principle to guide the igbos towards this.

try telling Midorima kagami to forgive america for wiping hiroshima, try telling a sarajévo native to befriend bosnians, try telling an afghan to help the US marines after wiping out his family in tabuk, try telling my grandfather to greet a northerner after gowon succeded in wiping out his siblings in a civil.war, and killing his people economically(buhari/idiagbon '83)....... igbos have realized a long time that NIGERIA holds no future for them, a historical piece of pre-colonial.igbo societies would give a clearer picture of the igbo political stand.

Let me take the opportunity to ask dat ABO.ki nduchucks, wat happened to Boko Haram Bomb?

Why no bomb now for four days?

I will ignore your name calling.

When GEJ decided to use appropriate and overwhelming millitary force against the Boko Haram thugs just before the elections, we saw the effective outcome. That force is still in place and active and it shows that the insurgency could have been contained long ago. Unfortunately for GEJ, he could not use the recent successes to his advantange.

Secondly, Azazi told us that Boko Haram is PDP and PDP is Boko Haram. I submit to you that what kept PDP members away from Aso Rock today and caused Sambo and Faka's offices to be closed is the same cause of the inactivity of Boko Haram. Chew on that mumu.

how can igbo man forget a civil that set them back."76.4" years.....you obviously do not grasp reflexivity. cause and effect are two horses from one stable, effect of the civil though gone produced an unending ripple of effects which can only be stopped by dissolution of the almalgamation charter. to your tents O israel.

Ibos made their bed, now they MUST lie on it! No one forced you to vote against APC, but now you want to benefit from their toil, hardwork and sweat? There was nothing dangerous when Ibos supported a man who watched 15K - 20K Nigerians killed and yet supported him! It could never be more dangerous to let Ibos go and work hard to gain political office and relevance! As it is, the Senate Presidency MUST stay in APC, with someone and a region that is all-legs and all-fingers in and not a loser people who are still dreaming of biafrua. Did the NC work hard for APC, heck they did, and if any APC strongman is there, he should get the seat! If Ibos don't like it, they can go and start working hard against 2019 and hope they come to vote with their brains functioning at that time. Again, the Yorubas you abuse and insult have shown you why they built an empire that lasted for more than 505 years while you were still in your forests, eating each other! The same Yorubas were responsible for giving Jonathan the opportunity to lead Nigeria from OBJ to Save Nigeria Group, but Ibos were quick to claim the credit for something they did not work for!

Well, in another 4 years time, would you still be begging for political relevance or you'd be working hard after learning from the behemoths of political sagacity and mental superiority in the South of Nigeria called the Yorubas! For a sensible people, you should be looking for a few of your smartest brains to go and learn under Asiwaju Tinubu, otherwise you'd be politically extinct soon!

Really you are mentally unstable to spew this trash! Who told you Igbos rely on politicians to fend for them? Do you think Igbos are lazy like your people who can't but rely on Tinubu for their daily bread? If at all you use your retarded brain to think then you will know the majority of Igbos never gained anything from any of the Igbo politicians GEJ used in his govt. Do you know why? Because we are not your people who are lazy and always dependent! You people that have political relevance, what have you done with it? Why do you people shamelessly sell all your land and inheritance to the same Igbos in your states? Lazy group of people!

Some Igbos are here ranting that they do not want the office of the Senate president because it has no developmental value. If I may ask, what was the value of support for Jonathan worth to the Igbos? Sentiments aside, the GEJ administration did nothing extraordinary in the East to the neglect of other regions. The idea behind the allocation of offices to all regions is to foster a sense of unity and not exclusivity,as some now are wont to do,in order to spread hateful propaganda against the Buhari government. The Yoruba just used that against Jonathan.

He was not going to do anything for anyone even if he stayed for twenty years.
Seriously, Jonathan is not fit for the position of a local government chairman. Having been pushed along all his political life he finally reached the end when we found out his competence level.

You may had wondered why the IGBOS are too resilient in their plight to be wealthy but never resilient in their unity as one. They only unite in the face of oppression but when it comes to personal desires, they fight and kill each other. The Uba brothers fought themselves during OBJ's regime for the governorship of Anambra, no elder, or royalty waded into their fight, rather they took sides.

Peter Obi dominated APGA for a very long time, APGA being the only concentrated IGBO party couldnt even get majority vote of any SENATORIAL SEAT or HOUSE OF REPS, lets excuse DELTA STATE because they claim not to be refered to as IGBO. Rochas and Peter Obi fell apart when ones ambition was not in line with the other. So Rochas moved to APC to see if he could realise his dreams. Eventually Peter Obi left APGA to PDP.

It is only fo.o.Ls (Igbos) that would forget history and try to use the present situation to steal some points. In Imo state the PDP has ruled and stolen money that Imo state was never developed. They said Imo state does not have money. But today we see changes being done there. why would they want PDP to come and rule.

If you love development, if you feel you deserve development as an IGBO person. If you feel the money meant to build your state is being stolen by certain group of people who would deceive you they have your interest at heart. Its better you stand up and tell your igbo clans that enough is enough. That you all no longer want to be treated as foo.L's.

For this to be actualize you all need to forget the hatred of the 1967-69 Civil war by General Gowon and start thinking towards the future, start thinking about accepting and mixing up with other tribes.

I hope you all have realised from the recent held election that the Igbo is irrelevant in Nigerian Politics of today. You all can't do it alone.

A word they say is enough for the wise.

I rest my case.

Why can't you lazy yoruba azz lickers leave the Igbos alone? Do you think they have slave mentality like you? You people that are relevant in Nigeria politics, how has is it change your lives? Are you people economically better off than the Igbos? Why can't people allow the Igbos the freedom make their own choices? Must they support who you support? In fact you lot talk like dirty animals that need to be kept in the zoo!

Point of correct, GEJ did not spend six years in Office as President just coming to 5 years.

In those years, we had the Agriculture revolution, infrastructure rehabilitation/construction, economic diversification and sustained economic growth that saw Nigeria assume the status of Africa biggest economy.

Obviously, Nigerians did not buy into the above. In five plus years and awash with petrodollars ,the development recorded is a drop in an ocean. Ten presidential jets was enough for me.

SE for Senate President? NO. That is not fair. This government is about fairness.

NC will produce the next Senate president.

How can one even think of that with the amount of votes the Igbos gave to APC?

Sorry, Ngige and other APC politians from the SE will be given portfolios but not number 3 post in the government.

OP see the type of words coming from the people you are defending. When the igbos formed the backbone of GEJ presidency, did the southwest weep or threaten a break up despite being sidelined by GEJ? . GEJ at the end realized his mistake and moved his headquarters to the southwest . He promised them heaven and earth, the Yorubas didnt chase him away they even collected all his dollars and spent all. grin But when the opportunity to produce the VP came they pounced on it. That to me is political sagacity. grin

So You will kick out Rochas irrespective of his performance?, Many Igbos still have a long way to go. grin

My Two Cents: Igbos should not reap where they didnt sow, Igbos should stop seeing Yorubas and Hausas as enemies, Some of Their leaders should stop being short sighted and in no distant future i will see an Igbo president.
