When an MTN line and a trium,or Ericsson phone were sold for like #60k.

The same phone can't be sold more than #300 now,and mtn line #200.
MTN sim now #100. Those people milked us then!

Bro's it was. It was not sold directly by MTN, but retailers capitalized on the fact that it was a new thing and we did not know better. It only lasted a while, but it was sold for that price.

Nairalanders will be calling a generation "Indomie Generation".
When this sim pack was been sold was when Indomie came out too.

Indomie came out 98/99

That shiit you are holding used to be 25,000NAIRA, at a point it was scarce and you can only buy it from a 3rd Party.
I could remember the first time i bought mine, waited on a long queue for almost 3hrs while the Sim was displayed graciously in a glass stand

The average age on nairaland is 25yrs, and 2002/2003 was 13yrs ago, minus 13yrs from 25 you get 12. I wonder were some liars above get 50k to buy sim and phone.
