Except if its those consultant recruiting for other organization, but if its a reputable organization it means they will employ you any moment from now or very soon once they are through with recruiting process.

The same thing happened to me on wed the Indian interviewer asked me 2 submit my 2 pasport and asked me if I can resume on monday.
