i remember watchin an episode of Real Hustle(know the program? Its all about how not to get scam, watch pros doing it) and this technique was used. Simple be careful about where and how you insert you cards. Make sure you see the card slot and your card is been inserted through the card slot and not through some bulky looking tray like card slot(i tell you all this Crackers(yes they are called crackers,cauyse the hacking comunity does not accept suych) need is a micro scanner which scans the bar code, a micro cam to monitor you pin code and a storage device, i think). Be observant

yea thats what I'm talking about... There's a skimmer that doesnt need cameras to capture pin.... Uses a cover keypad to capture pins... Sometimes, the keypad is wiped clean shortly before the victim arrives the atm and when he/she is done, ultraviolet lights/blacklight is used to see number keys pressed by the unsuspecting victim.

Bro skimmers are placed on d entrance into d atm whr u fit ur card...so covering ur hand doesnt help...even though some skimmers are placed as keypads covering d original keypad...u wuldnt knw.

Don't need your pin to order a 50" smart TV online. But I do need the 3 digits at the back of the card, something that the scammers cannot obtain using this mechanism. These cards require a "plug" at a retail store, a complicit Walmart cashier, for example. Otherwise, a fake ID would be necessary to walk out of the store with anything significant.

These ATM scammers are able to retrieve only your magnetic strip with their ATM phishing.

So basically they have your name and card number and expiration date. They don't have the three digit code on the back.

They don't have your PIN.

The PIN info is not on the strip. But believe me, that is not a real problem. Some people simply press their own names into the cards with someone else card number printed.
