People drown in rivers not because they fell into the water neither because they can't swim but because they decide to stay in the water. People fail not because they didn't try nor because of their incapacity rather it owes to their failure to renounce defeat and accept victory. I have always believe that there is still, yet, an improvement to be made on every scale of judgment and standard. And thus, i seek all my life,if possible to live without hurting somebody else feelings. A romancelander had made this comment on one of my threads "If you are thinking of not hurting somebody else's feelings you will make a good mess of your life". That was when i was asking if any case there is a way one can call off a relationship without hurting the Lady in question. It serves, to me, a challenge; I want to call off the relationship without hurting her in anyway because in all sincerity she loves me and wholeheartedly commited. How happy she was when i told her i will be publishing my first book soon. To her i can't afford to do any harm(not in the least). So i told her about us calling it off for now; we starting to see each other as friends and stopping to see each other as partners. I carefully explained to her why and why.....in all sincerity. I was taking aback by her calm reaction; listening to my explanations taking it gently and mature...she agreed we remain friends for now...the crown being her showing no sign of heartbreak gives me victory and confident. Though we talked earlier today she still call me tonight to say a goodnight to me. The Law of nature may be against your ideology but i want you to know you can live without hurting somebody else's feelings. I believe then that all things are possible for those who believe. In J. Martin's voice i say "If You believe you will defeat all rules and norm! |
