Since you became a moderator on nairaland, you have been doing an excellent job of updating the frontpage regularly, on that you must be commended. But you seem not to have any criteria or standard for moving topics to the front page. Do not forget that the quality of threads on the front page affects how people view nairaland, and conversely it's rating. Before you move a thread, ask yourself 4 queations

1) is this thread educative?
2) does it pass a vital information?
3) is it of public interest? /how does it affect society?
4) is it simply for the purpose of laughter?
5) how does it affect the image of nairaland?

If a thread doesn't meet any criteria, just leave it where it is.
When unneccesary threads such as that of a seductively dressed IndecentStar hits front page, it should be an embarrassment to nairaland. What is the purpose of showing us her pictures?
