Dummy, I have already answered you that the answer is YES, but it could not produce results because every time there is presence of SANDF, poachers always seem to be tipped of. Poachers do not carry heavy machine guns. All that carry are just injections smuggled from veterinary surgeon and some tools to dehorn the rhinos, but they have secret network consisting of park rangers, vet surgeons and security official. It seems a difficult challenge to crack down the network.

Fighting poaching does not need one to carry big guns and deploy soldiers or police, it is a mammoth task that requires covet missions from people who are experts at unraveling secret networks.
That's my boy.

So the SANDF failed in intelligence and in military action. If the authorities didn't think it necessary they wouldn't have drafted in the SANDF.

My friend there is military intelligence and crime intelligence, which one are you on about?

I told you poaching does not need military action, it is not a national threat. A military action is needed in situations like insurgency and terrorism.

Stop telling lies at random dude ! Can't you even be honest for one day ?

We have repeated the proofs here over 50 times since last year !

South African army and air force plus special forces have all been fighting Rhino poachers and failing like babies !

the local poachers now hold territory both inside South African homeland of Kruger park and specially on the lands belonging to the SANDF itself, the special land allocated to South African military has been invaded by illiterate Rhino poachers who now reign as landlords there collecting rent by force and the currency is Rhino Horns shocked shocked shocked

"The deployment of South African National Defence Force (SANDF) members at the Kruger National Park has brought confidence that rhino poaching can be extinguished. The SANDF deployed 265 soldiers at Kruger National Park and the borders around the park in March this year, following a plea for help by the South African National Parks (SanParks).

We've got one Intelligence Tactical Regiment from Potchefstroom, which specialises in intelligence gathering. Special Forces and 21 Batallion, both in the park and on the borders," says Colonel Bobelo. The ground troops are supported by helicopters for a speedy chase of poachers. "The helicopters contribute a lot in terms of identifying areas where poachers are operating," he adds. Colone! Says that it became increasingly important to rope in the army when syndicates began using helicopters, night vision equipment and high-powered rifles in their expedition.

Colonel Bolelo confirms that more than 10 suspected poachers had been killed with more than 56 arrested since the SANDF's deployment in this region. The killing of poachers was a result of a shoot-out when the rhino killers attacked SANDF members patrolling the park. Fortunately for the SANDF, the military did not lose a single member in the shoot-out with poachers. Colonel Bobelo says many of the poachers are former Mozambican soldiers and are well trained to fight. Within three months of the SANDF's arrival at the Kruger National Park, rhino poaching cases dropped from 40 in March to just two in June. But poachers always device new strategies and return for more horns."

Deployed on the border.

It is unconstitutional for the SANDF to deploy for law-enforcement outside of a 4km strip of the border

They are there for border protection, this has been proved many times with many citations.

Gives the F-7 pilot advantage to attack from outside Gripen radar angular coverage, by flying 2 km higher than Gripen with superior max altitude advantage of F-7 over the Gripen, then from inside Gripen's radar blind spot F-7 fires 35 km range BVR missiles and demölishes ALL South African Gripen jets then Mandela's investment is wasted in minutes !

South African army will waste 30 bullets before they k.ill one enemy, as Mr.Day....he's still alive, thanks to SANDF incompetent gunnery !

See naija precision shooting below.....one man one bullet, even if the enemy is driving a moving vehicle !
.
In your fantasy land.

You think the enemy will be visible?

You think you gonna have enough time survey the origin of fire and select your target?

The enemy will spray your position with accurate fire, cause you can't do the same you'll lie down.

Why do you think we moved from bolt-action rifles to auto and semi-auto rifles. Spraying increases the chance of hitting your target.

People don't drop and die at all times when hit, some will continue firing.

Secondly 90% of all Afrikaners have some sort of German ancestry, besides my family have lived in South Africa for close to 400 years, so i consider my self of Afrikaner race!and not Dutch,French or German.

So, I contacted SIPRI. I sought to know why Nigerian military procurement assets are always under-enumerated by the research institute or are totally missing entirely. I discovered a whole lot of anomalies in their arms transfer database, the Hinds and MI-17's from Ukraine(NAF 261, 525,526 etc etc) are not listed, the 12 more MI-35's from belarus were also missing, Tanks, UAV's, Igirigi and Gazelle Helicopters were also under-enumerated or completely missing .............

Here, the reply I got from their Senior researcher.

[b] As usual Nigerian arms procurement is relatively secretive and our open source derived data can only be an indication of the true scope and volume of Nigerian arms imports.

We are always searching for more information, but we only use open sources for our database.

A good example of the secrecy around arms procurement in Nigeria. We only noticed the information abut the Gazelles when the database had already been closed and was ready for publication. We have no idea how many Gazelle's Nigeria has procured and where they came from. We believe they were delivered in 2015, and my best guess is that they come from Serbia or France. Both countries have plenty of Gazelles in stock.

the Igirigi, the number of 10 transferred is a pure estimate, very likely a significant underestimate. We do not know how many have been ordered and how many more are planned to be delivered.

best regards
