hi mamas...I am 6 months pregnant and have some challenges. God has been with me sha but I feel contraction each time I do hard labour at home,like washing of toilet etc. is this normal? Also,each time I cry as a result of my husband hurting me,i feel pain in my tommy/waist. lastly is I have been having some rashes in my vjayjay(I no shame to talk am,una no de see my face..lol)...I have taken antibiotics they gave me from de hospital,I have used dettol and hot water and salt to wash off but all to no avail..pls is there any cream that can clear this rashes? it really is annoying me and I am scared all this will hurt my lovely baby

hi dear, it may be braxton hicks you have when you are stressed but try reduce the stressful work and also talk to your gyne about it. Prevention is Always better. having pain whenever you cry too should be complained. talk to ur dh and lets see if he can make you stop crying, also if he doesnt change, develop a thick skin, my dear, your babys life is worth the sacrifice.
the rashes, i have no idea. dont use too much dettol for ur vjay for now. salt solution is still ok but talk to ur doc. they know better

At senior Mamas, Please Which teething medicine work for your lo?

let me just say this- we were told at the hospital never to give any teething medication. Reason being that those drugs are not routine drugs and should not be administered to babies especially on daily basis. They told to give paracetamol when babies are running temperature.
Be very careful at this time cos all those over sabi mamas out there can get one confused.
I made this mistake with my first child and danced to their Tune, but now i know better. God bless you and your lo.

It is well mama. I'm all for natural remedy...especially at the stage. If you weren't preggy, I'd have asked you to drink bitter leaf juice(first wash) but studies have shown it can cause contractions...so no drinking(though I drink very little quantity from time to time)

I'm hoping you mean the outer part of your Vee..Get bitter leaf, rinse(remove dust and dirt) and wash, use washed leaves itself to scrub ur Vee, do not rinse off, it'll dry on you and fall off...do this morning and night...you should notice some difference after a while...if you can lay ur hands on cranberry juice, it helps fight infections too...

I hope other mamas will help too.

I had rashes too in my 1st tri though not on my Vee, but on my arms, and I used this same bitter leaves...

@oyinyi op u don't mind me asking? y did ur doc place u on cyclogest and progestorone injection at the same time ? i dont know ur history but pls dont insert anything in there 4 how including beding. I have gone thru this b4 and i have a miracle 2 show 4 it. i am also expecting my second, so i notic it, wnt 2 my doc said he going 2 place me on progestorone injection till my 12wks, my sister i went home pray 2 God and read my supernatural child birth and rest my case, decided not 2 go 4 d injection cos even after taking it with my first it didnt stop infact i bleed. There is nothing wrong with inserting cyclogest and still taking progesterone injections. I took both till 13 weeks. Some Drs prescribe one, some prescribe both it just depends on the Dr. In all its God that sustains pregnancy and He will grant u a safe delivery.
