Ibos stop being myopic, civil war is in the past stop seeing other tribes as enemies, stop this nature of wanting to dominate, defraud, deceive and degrade other ethnic groups, you'll need to start accepting other tribes, erase that inherent hatred for other languages.

shutup wat do u think we are talking abt, igbos hate other tribes, was it d obi of Onitsha dat woke up one day and started talking rubbish?, whose fault is it that naturally in Nigeria in other regions, if u re not Yoruba or Hausa then u re igbo, or if u re fair skin then u re igbo, if An Ikwerre man called chibuike commits a crime he is branded igbo, if an Ogoni man called Nwizua commits a crime since Nwizua sounds igbo he is branded igbo, if an idoma man called Ogwuche commits a crime he is branded igbo, unless this ppl start arguing with u over where they are from, but d moment it involves sth good, sth like oil u ppl wud tell an Oyigbo man dat he is not Igbo dat he is just sm1 who bears d same name with igbo speaks d same language but is not Igbo, u ppl wud tell an ikwerre man dat they are not igbo's that they came from Benin kingdom, but now it has come to election sm1 opened a topic abt Nyesom Wike and saying his action is a pure display of igbo greed, so Wike now has been branded igbo overnight... igbos might have sm sentiments abt other tribes especially d north but they don't hate them it's the others who hate us.

M not Yoruba either sir. If the biafran succession had succeeded its safe to say I would have been a complete Biafran. I am also detribalised

Despite Hausa Fulani resetting your brain to hate your people, I believe with this small truth you can be redeemed.

You are not Nigerian, forget all the kukugele, Hausa see u as inyamiri, Yoruba hates ur guts despite you supporting and loving them.

Biafra is your home and deep down you know.

We are marching this year, you are a man of intellect and you too much that I know. astute businessman, Biafran trait, making way anywhere you may be.
Come join the struggle, join IPOB worldwide, join where you are.

Don't even think of sabotaging the effort, it will be fruitless.
Believe u me, all this tribalism will stop this year, because Biafra will be restored this year.

Either Biafra comes or every soul in Nigeria dies, I inclusive.
We will nuke this entity.
They hate Biafrans, they don't want us to go.

Spread the news, those of you who can travel out do, else we all will die here.

2 options, surrender to Biafra of all of you, or all will cease to exist.

You will have option of allowing Biafra to go at gun point, if u resist it Nigeria is history.

Why does the Igbo tribe always paint herself as the scape goat in almost every issue even when they are wrong. I'm not siding with the Oba cos his actions were wrong but the Igbo tribe since the civil war as always potrayed itself as the victim in any issue which is not suppose to be. Igbo people are Nigerians and so they have equal right as any other Nigerian. So therefore we have to shed this civil-war mentality and stand tall. We have to behave like a Nigerian and not an outcast. If we continue to paint ourselves as the scapegoat all the time people will also continue to ridicule us. I think Chimamanda is also guilty of these things as potrayed in her article and she should know better... I know it's painful but we just have to move on from the days of the civil war and look to the future. Lets spread the good news of these great nation and not ones that will instigate war amongst our people... Let us lay good legacies for this generation and generations to come.. #PEACE

There is no segregation whatsoever in Igboland and I am proud of it and will defend it anywhere. What you call segregation is nothing but stiff competition amongst our business men and if you can compete you relocate, like some Igbos have done. The business terrain in the east is no child's play and an average hustler will not survive there. The problem with you yoloba is that you don't travel, hence your ignorance. You all believe Ani Igbo is village littered with mud houses...lol
Oga abi madam,a well travelled man is superior to an educated person without outside exposure.

chinue Achebe i suppose use be b chiamanda's mentor Igbos never want one Nigeria never believed in it from history they want to be left alone because with they are great people living in a blessed land posterity will not judge her go back to history Igbo were denied food and the source where they could get food was sold they were malnourished and could not continue the story won't be easily forgotten

With the comments i'm seeing here, Nigerian history should be taught in schools and I mean real Nigerian history and not d lies pple r plundering everywhere. I recommend a documentary on Nigerian history by Jide olarenwaju (he's yoruba so we can't say he's biased based on tribal sentiments). That's the most accurate story of Nigerian history i've seen. He said the truth as it happened not favoring any tribe or person. I'll post the link ltr.

so are u saying, that the Oba is right for His Death threat to Igbos, over his political choice, somebody threatened you and our family with death in Lagos Lagoon. U feel we shud b quiet n do nothing abt it. The way some Yorubas are responding to this issue is what is hurting me most, why can't we jus stand for the truth without been biased, sentimental or tribalist about serious national issues like this one. What the Oba did shud be condemned not for the issue to be twisted and not for all this talk abt disrespecting d host or insulting the Oba, what and what not. All this tribal bashing is uncalled for, if only we tell our leaders to they face when they wrong us, for an explanation or apology.

NB: if any of words has offended you, accept my apologies.

Yes, it is true people move from one place to another. However, the numbr will indicate how conducive the place is. Take the UK and Nigeria for example. There are some brits here in Nigeria and there are Nigerians in Britain. However, the number of Nigerians in britain is extremely more than brits in naija. Do you understand my point now?
