Sequel to the above. I sent an unlock request to AT&T this afternoon for the unlock code and was told it was gonna take at least 2 business days for the request to be processed only for me to check my mail this evening and found that the request have been processed and the unlock code mailed to me. ALL FREE OF CHARGE. So, time to go do a little unboxing and setting up.

hw did you go about the unlocking thing? via mail or chat? just bought an att 635 on ebay

Just ship the screen from ebay and fix it yourself with DIY tutorials from YouTube.
Or just sell the phone.

Used to till l forgot my password after uninstalling it one time. Now they're giving me a hard time with registration. I think it's still on my phone though.


So I'm thinking of buying a Lumia 830. Didn't know MS now has a number of branded phones in the market they've been pushing their 535 so bad you'd think that was all they've made so far. I saw phones eh....but nothing mid-range and flagship

That thing is so complex and absolutely awesome. I was once wondering how someone made his pictures bw with colours at specific spots, until I found out my Fantasia had it all along.

When will lumia 640xl be available in nigeria?

Is it true that Windows 10 is out for the list of phones previously released??

640 & 640XL are midrange phones.
the 640XL has a promising camera.
It's a pretty big phone though.

The 830 will suit you for size I think.

I'm looking at the 640 if I'm still going to remain with Windows.
After what opera mini did to me, the lure of Android is getting stronger ,I no go lie.

Patiently waiting for windows 10 to finish cooking.

Change region to US or UK then restart device.

Opera is just an example of what is wrong with the app availability on WP.
Why the hell would any sane company release such crude stuff? Why didn't they experiment with this 'new look' on iOS or Android?
Instagram is still in beta for ages now for example. (6tag is quite a good 3rd party app tho)
Even many apps lack features already available to android versions.

@Elxandre. The 640 and 830 sure as hell feel like the same phones with of course an exception in memory capacity. I'm disappointed.

actually, I was hoping it will solve my "internet not shared" problem whenever I try to turn on internet sharing(actually did some surfing on that prob and found out it was a restriction from Verizon). Lumia 822
