No you don't get it.

America wants china to steer clear of Africa.

The west considers Africa as their turf. By frustrating china investments in Africa the west hopes to see China pack out once and for all.

China played a fast one on the west when they boycotted London commodity markets to secure deals directly with the resource nation.

With this talk of dumping the dollar, America and the west will be finished. It is African countries like Nigeria that still trade with the dollar that give the dollar some weight.

The deals with China were direct deals into the economy, they are not loan facilities.it is not the earlier contracts that were govt tied.Hence cancellation is pointless.
the benefactors are key players in the economy and they have achieved at least 60% of implementation on the whole average.guess who are the major receipts(private).it is virtually impossible to cancel.
Let us not forget Tinubu is a major player in Nigeria China business relations.
The West will need to bring its own FDI plans(which they are doing) but cancellation is impossible.

The direct investments are hinged on commodity exchange with Nigeria such as crude and other mineral resources.

This is how China is deliberately by passing the dollar as a means of trade and investment in Africa.

The West thus had only one option which was to cripple prices of commodities such as oil in order to make Chinnese investments in this form less economically.

The case of cancellation of Power plants by the Yaradua administration in preference to Anglo-American firms has so far deterred China from investing in our energy sector. If anything China has gained more in our epileptic power state by importing cheaper household generators.

The west will rather you starve than see you progress with an arch economical enemy.

Thou shall not offend the APC shilling mafia here.

Even where they post outright fallacies, try to avoid any confrontation with them.

They will derail any argument or debate here and reduce it to a mud slinging challenge. Their aim is to draw you into an e fight. Once you give them their much deserved lashing, notice how they will begin to invoke monikers of their janjawiid janitors citing the breaking of rule 2.

You will be banned, your posts hidden and if it were your thread it will be summarily deleted.

This is a tactic they employ with the help of their compromised mods to silence any thread that paints their party and political sham pay masters in bad light.

Meanwhile any peddled false propaganda and blatant lie by them is effectively protected and even pushed to FP.

Well ,like you rightly said that those loans were infrastructural loans but they are still paid with oil and some foreign direct export and import with low or no tariff in direct exchange between the Chinese and the Nigerian Government vice versa which affects both our local manufacturers and exporters but with a mirrored effect on both economies.

Now back to the IMF,and the West's FDI ,it then means you have two large economies competing for your big consumer market with your low GDP and what happens next can only be compared to a situation where a man is running two huge loans from two different banks with high interest rate with only one source of income for repayment - No be die be that? undecided

Make una think am again.

You think my stand against Buhari candidacy and the APC where based on political bias?

Just as you chose to ignore the message now, that is how you will be in denial when the reality of a puppet government begins to set in so it wouldn't have made any difference if you stumbled upon the several posts and threads that were put up here highlighting America's reason for backing a Buhari candidacy.

Buhari has 4 years to mess things up again.

are you trying to say this country was not messed up? I mean seriously?

And how did america back him? Did they fly in some of their populace to thumb print for buhari on election day? Abegii!!

Face it, GEJ is not a leader. Forget nigeria seff, Look at what PDP turned into under his watch.

I disagree with you on commodity exchange.it is a false claim.FDI from China are not again not govt tied!
The crude oil business with China is not negotiated or tied to any Chinese agreement.
The bypassing of the dollar is that by the chinese-russia and its allies.Get your facts right.
The power sector reforms started with obj and was marked with incompleted terms of business and loopholes hence the then President Yar'adua sought for its cancellation but Under President Jonathan it was reviewed and decentralized to the states which has brought more results.the offer from the west on power was more appealing to govt than what they would get from China.

what I want you to see is Investing into your economy. The game is to emerge as a developed economy.
the investments from China are tailored for the industries and not for the infrasture.that is the big hit!
if we play it right the output of the industries will offset whatever comes along(making Nigeria a big player in the West Africa market)

The concluded WEF held in Abuja in May, 2014 saw China unveil a $42bn investment over the next 10yrs in the African continent with Nigeria expected to gulp the highest share of over $30bn in direct infrastructural investment, energy sector and manufacturing.

With the emergence of the newly appointed Colonial Governor of the Royal Niger Company aka Nigeria, expect to see Buhari cancel outrightly all Chinnese direct investments in preference to western loans from the IMF, World Bank and Paris Club.

Off course, all the newly borrowed money will be diverted with nothing on ground to show for it but debt for the next 40years.
