The first female governor is different from the first elected female governor.

Virgy was not elected as governor. She became the governor after the impeachment of her boss. Had Mrs. Jummai Alhassan won, she would have become the first elected female governor in Nigeria.

This is very good for the PDP, at least we have one state in the North, one the SW and have a very strong base in the SE/SS.
