Everything that happened in the Oba's palace was rehearsed and well planned by the APC, Oba and the Igbo Ezes in Lagos. The only way Ambode could beat Agbaje was to pitch the Yoruba against the Igbo and that is exactly what happened. Who recorded the whole thing and why was it leaked to the public? If this whole Oba episode had not happened, a lot of Yorubas would have voted for Agbaje and it was common knowledge that the Igbos would vote in block for Agbaje being their party man. The APC saw this and decided to play the ethnic card which worked perfectly. They know our people well and that we will shout and bring down heaven when we see the video just like we reacted during the deportation saga. Alot of Yorubas who initially wanted to vote for Agbaje ended up changing their mind to vote for Ambode because they saw it as Yoruba vs Igbo and they wanted to prove to the Igbo their dominance in Lagos... cheesy

Are you trying to give us the impression that the Igbo can be easily manipulated? Because I believe they pride themselves as the most intelligent tribe in Nigeria. Or is this intelligence just business-wise?

Even in western world they practice tradition and they have monarchies that your tribe don't have one shouldn't make you talk poos about others.

OK. Am i suppose to agree with you cos you brought in the western world? inferiority complex huh?

There is no room for monarchy in a fully democratic nation my friend. We all are bound and subject to the constitution of one Nigeria. If you guys insist on your traditional practices, good for you and keep them to yourself.

When it comes to what is binding in this country, your archaic traditions have no place. LOL

It's because ur an unreasonable hater and too tribal. Read your past comments and see

We could stay here all day my dear friend. Read my posts, i don't do tribalism and i avoid shouting matches except when you barge into me like you just did. Tribalism can't be beneficial to me as a person so i can't indulge in it no matter how angry i get. There are a lot of things very personal i stand to lose from a physical confrontation between both tribes.

Oya let's bury the hatchet my friend.....we are supposed to be big boys you know? wink

Are you indirectly suuggesting or better still confirming that you and your people are gullible?

Are you indirectly suggesting you can't read well by clearly ignoring the facts that the yorubas that wanted to vote Agbaje are gullible for leaving their preferred choice because of a well scripted act by the Oba?

If my people are gullible then yours are gullible as well for seeing the election as a way of proving to the Igbos that the Yoruba owns Lagos. I personally interviewed a lot of Yorubas who initially told me were going to give Agbaje a chance and they all confirmed that they changed their mind and voted for Ambode because Jimi Okeshuku Agbaje was going to hand over Lagos to the Igbos like Afonja.
[/s]

Nonsense. Just like your people said they cant vote for Babatunde Ngige and Amala people during the Anambra election. Very good.

I'm saying if you weren't biased, you'd have seen in that same post that the Yorubas who wanted to vote Agbaje were gullible when they fell for the Oba's gimmick of making the votes Igbo vs Yoruba beef, hence why they voted Ambode instead.

Gullibility definitely has no respect for tribes and/or ethnicity.
Electorates are known to easily fall for propaganda due to obvious reasons bordering along the line of inadequate intelligence

Fact of the matter is, Agbaje was never going to win the election due to the political structure that Tinubu commands in Lagos.

He allowed himself to be played hence the sad death of his political career

HOW JEGA Got His OBAMA Award

Obama gave Jega US National Honours for getting GEJ out based on the recommendation of David Axelrod who was Obamas campaign director during his elections and current APC campaign Consultant after Jega had lied to the world about how he has cleaned up the Voter Register by removing underage voters.

Gov Kwankwaso has just confirmed that Almajiris were massively used.
Not Surprisingly all the EU and US International dubious observers concentrated on the OIL States of Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Delta which are there key areas of interest and would want to be controlled by APC where they are calling for cancellation due to rigging and did not see manipulation in the North.

The Oba should henceforth play a fatherly role and be a unifying factor to all irrespective of their beliefs or race once you are in Lagos.
That one was still better than your regions, ss and se where voting didn't take place but massive thump printing.

So you knew gullibility has no respect for tribe and/or ethnicity, yet you pointed out the ones of the Igbos ONLY in that post and out of bias left out the ones of the Yorubas? A round of applause for you that a minute ago acted like he knew not what I was saying.

Agbaje winning or not is not why I quoted you. I quoted you for you to be fair and admit the gullibility of your tribesmen too. That's all. Have a nice day.

I am Igbo and I know what my people can do for money. Why do you think there was a mixed reaction among the Igbos after the oba made that statement? Didn't you also see the Igbo group in the background cheering? Those are the kind of people that will sell us and ask us to go to war.
Even if the oba wanted to go tribal, he wouldn't have gone raw and aggressive like he did. Everything was well-planned between those Igbo fools there and the oba
Why blame the Yorubas if the eventual outcome was as a direct result of self-inflicted action. The anger should be directed to your leaders IMO

I just don't get the outcry really

Exactly what i was going to point out. the only people that were "manipulated" into anything were the yorubas.

The whole drowning in Lagoon speech was a carefully written and acted script. The governorship election in Lagos turned out to be about proving who owns Lagos and this alone pitched almost all the Yorubas against Agbaje whom they saw as another Afonja.

All this was part of Tinubu's game, wake up! Don't be surprised to go to the Oba's palace and find him drinking with those Igbo Ezes. embarassed embarassed embarassed

They successfully labelled Agbaje as Okeshuku. cheesy

What can you say about that?
Yes, and GEJ failed them. He was busy building schools for almajiri in the north and fighting ghosts. How many Yorubas did he appoint for ministerial posts? They have the right to be offended. And so when they saw the opportunity that could have their brother as vice president, they quickly grabbed it, and voted against him.
I'm not pained or hateful that they did, but why should they snarl that I voted for GEJ, adding tribal slurs on top of it?
