As Nigerians, we have right to campaign for any post in any part of our country irrespective of tribe, religion, etc. Thats why its called a federal state and not confederation. God bless you my sister! You are one of the few sensible persons on this thread. The others keep chanting war as if its a child play. It seems they have forgotten what happened to Rwanda in 1994. Neither the Hutus nor Tutsis gained from that incidence. I also blame the moderators on Nairaland. They are not supposed to display threads like this because it encourages ethnocentricism. Nigerians are hypocrites. In as much as I am not a fan of massob, the issue we all should be concerned should have been what Danjuma said and why? Not massob. I have read most comments here and it appears to me that we are ready to bash the SE people, instead of addressing the key issues.

Danjuma didn't have to bring in Ojukwu and Biafra, when talking of Jonathan conceding defeat to Buhari. He is just stoking the embers of ethnic hatred among Nigerians. That's not what one would expect from an elder statesman. Poor judgement by the General.

Just to let you know, SS and SE are re-united again, as seen from the election results, ending over 40 years of strife induced between the Igbo and their neighbours. SS has suddenly realized that they are no friends with the North or West. With SS and SE united back again as it was in the early 60s, both will leave Nigeria with the oil blocs of Nigeria + Nollywood (English/Igbo speaking) which are major successes of the Nigerian economy today. I wonder what will be left of other Nigeria when SE+SS leave. With Nigeria's economy wholly dependent on oil, Nigeria will be a total failure without Biafra.

My friend, I love them as humans but Igbos can frustrate one's life with whining and crying about this or that.

Honestly, I grew up with Igbos whining and crying abt this or that. I even thought that Igbos are being killed at every passing seconds by others while growing up. I grow up to find the truth and that was what inspired me to read all Nigeria history books I have come across except the ones written by Igbos and Yorubas.

What I found in all these books was opposite of what Igbos are saying or agitating about.
