Gee, the real nigerians including the igbos and yorubas who care more about the future of naija have moved on.

the few ones who keep bringing up issues from the past to annoy either the yoruba or igbos, the dumbass attention seekers looking to cause hatred among us are the polithiefians playing poltricks with our head.
Have you wondered why you keep seeing fresh news on igbo, yoruba, oba, ss/se votes and the rest?

Its all Politricks !!

I like massob as they only spoke about the Oba whom am against what he said; I would say they are sensible not like those once bringing all Yoruba's into the Oba issue because if they have, it will lead to a blood bath sooner or later because the Yoruba's Will quickly reciprocate chaply. Massob did well, I hail them.

Walkopet:
The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has warned the former Minister of Defence, Gen. Theophilus Y. Danjuma and Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu to stop making cynical statements against the Igbos and their
leadership.
A statement issued by MASSOB leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike said that MASSOB would not keep its hand akimbo and watch the name of its founder being dragged to the mud in the name of playing politics.
Chief Uwazuruike was reacting to a statement
credited to Gen. Danjuma that the Nigerian /Biafran Civil war was prolonged because the Biafran warlord,
Late Dim. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, did not concede victory when Enugu fell.
The MASSOB leader said that Gen. Yakubu Gowon refused to abide by the Aburi Accord because people like Gen. Danjuma advised him not to abide by the
accord and thereby prolonged the war and caused the blood flow.
Uwazuruike who spoke through his personal
Assistant and the Nnewi North Regional
Administrator, Emmanuel Omenka said, “he has been insulting Ojukwu, what is the concern of Ojukwu in the conceding of victory to General Mohammadu Buahri
(rtd) by President Goodluck Jonathan”.
“If Danjuma and his cohorts did not support Gowon, the war would have been averted”, he declared.
On the statement which was credited to the Oba Rilwan Akiolu of lagos state that Igbos in Lagos would perish in the Lagoon within seven days if they failed to vote for the All Progressive Congress, APC gubernatorial candidate, MASSOB reiterated that the Oba’s threat was that of a dreaming man.
“The threat is null and void and of no effect because the Oba has no such power to threaten Igboman”, he
stated.

off course to make caricature of the Igbo man, those who say Igbo are there problem should explain which tribe that has Been in power for the highest number of years?

you hate Igbo, but you don't want them to secede, are you guys not confused?

if actually you hate Igbo both you and your Oba should start from somewhere... enough of this chest beating.. n cheap talk.. start your war or hostility physically.. look around you.. just start with the closest Igbo man you see..let's see where this leads us to!!!

Tunisia revolution started from cheap Facebook rantings like this..
its no secret that the Igbo man will be very very happy to secede.

As an igbo fellow, I would have to say that although Ojukwu had good intentions, he had other plans after the successful secession of Biafra which didn't include the common citizens of Biafra.

Re: MASSOB Warns Danjuma, Oba Of Lagos by justNonso: 7:27pm On Apr 15, 2015
why much hate of Igbos in dis country, from day 1 of post independence the north and west had had major lead in d Nigeria politics enjoying the benefits of nationalists like Nnamdi azikwe, anthony enahoro fron Edo, herbert macaulay who stood radically against the intention of colonial Lords to stay put, while the hausas and Yorubas were busy been loyal and leaking the white man's ass. Now the former hv now become subject of hate and caricature. Or was it not awolowo that started regional politics in d country with the emergence of the (AG) action group in 1951 with the party slogan as egbe omo oduduwa, then followed by (NPC) northern peoples congress same year with slogan as 'one north, one people irrespective of tribe and religion. Both parties had regional objectives. However, the (NCNC) national convention of nigerian citizens formed in 1944 with Nnamdi Azikiwe as its head had national objective which was aimed at arousing the political consciousness of the people and independence. D origin of d hatred on d Ibos today was as a result of Igbo dominant in various most envied positions in Nigeria prior to d departure of imperial Lords, that was because then the ibos were d most educated in d country. Ur forefathers spread d gospel of hate on d Ibos accusing them of various offences on d ground of what the. In one interview ahmadu bello was asked if he would appoint an ibo man if he had a vacant position? He said and I quote that " unless there is no northerner left to be employed. Why so much hate on d Ibos to me d Ibos are d most successful tribe in Nigeria that's because d fed Govt doesn't care abt the region and they hv succeeded ad mist all odds. D hausas are not hated for boko haram, d yorubas are not hated for been saboteurs, betrayals, cowardice, so why d hate on Ibos. Most industrious, creative, talented, independent, most traveled civilized, major developers in Nigeria. Why the so much hate on Ibos. U all been jealous of the Ibos and without ur Nigeria biafra can survive. And for ur information is d most brave tribe in d country and doesn't fear any body.

Well then, let SE and SS leave. The election results show SS and SE reunited against the North-West hegemony. With just the north and west left in Nigeria, Nigeria will be a complete failure, never to be heard of in the annals of history.

Meanwhile, their next-door neighbour - SS + SE, will wax stronger - thanks to Nollywood, Crude oil, and the hardworking and talented traits of its people. Also probably a country with the best African military with funds there to support it. Nigeria would be a joke to dare rub shoulders with Biafra.
Hahahaha! This is quite funny grin. I've said and will continue to say that the SS as a geopolitical entity has its unique tribes and distinct cultures that are different from the SE. Not only this, the social ideology and political aspirations of the SS is completely different from the SE. So it's incredibly amusing how the ibos keep trying to usurp the uniqueness of the SS's cultural identity and replace it with theirs. Ibos can keep subtly claiming the SS all you want but they are different, this is a fact of life. This political subtlety won't work because the SS have a mind of their own and they have proven themselves repeatedly over time to be smart people and can't be fooled by such political maneuverings with malicious intent.

But the idea is this, the seeming political "Frankenstein friendship" created between the SE and the SS was and is due to each region's calculated pursuit of its engendered political and socioeconomic goals, and their incapacitation and inability under the Nigeria's political framework to accomplish these political and socioeconomic goals. So the question is this: what does the SE want? Biafra!!! This is largely the ibos idea of political and socio-economic independence. The SE can only achieve this through secession. On the other hand, what does the SS want? 100% resource control or at least a substantial chunk of the derivation formula. This is the SS idea of political and socio-economic independence. The SS can achieve this either by secession or by true federalism, where each region is given full autonomy over its resources and predetermined contributions are made to the center. From the perspective of a political venn diagram, the socioeconomic and political goals of the SE and SS are akin to two distinct sets, with a common intersection of "secession", which is the shaky foundation upon which the fragile inflammable friendship between the SE and SS is built. Each region sees the other as a political tool to accomplish its own individual aim. And that's why ibos always include the SS in their plans and arrogant vocal clamoring for self-actualization (just like you did now). Ibos can't just desist from dragging the SS into their "Biafra business". But the interesting question to ask is why: why do the ibos always associate the SS with their socioeconomic and political ambitions? Well, maybe it's because the ibos can't achieve secession without the SS...or can they? Oh what the heck am I saying, of course the SE can achieve its goal of independence without the SS. Then why does the SE, as a self-appointed hero, keep making the SS its political sidekick in trying to wrest its political independence from its hated and despised self-professed formidable villain called Nigeria - it's #1 foe? Simple, it's because of the OIL. The SE have their sights set on SS oil. Anyone can deny it all they want, but the truth is everybody in Nigeria likes free oil money grin that just so happens to be in SS territory. Of course, it's no astronomical science that hundreds of billions dollars revenue annually can do lots of magic to any independent state, especially an African country. But it seems this is just another usual political miscalculations of the SE, because if joint secession were to become reality because the SS will never accept to be a part of Biafra and never allow the SE access to joint ownership of any drop of oil in its territory. So if the SE is dreaming about building Biafra with SS oil, then by all means push the snooze button and keep dreaming grin

As for the SS, as mentioned earlier, its socioeconomic and political goals can be achieved through either secession or true federalism. Now, forming an opportunistic political alliance (albeit temporal) with the SE who are hellbent on realizing Biafra is a preferred path for secession. This way, they play sidekick to the "heroic" SE that will set itself at the forefront of constituting a political nuisance to Nigeria up to the extent that Nigeria will get frustrated and bequeath its prodigal son its inheritance of statehood and send it packing from its territory. If this were to happen, then the SS has ingeniously achieved its aspirations with the smallest deployment of its resources: manpower, assets...etc (didn't I tell you they're are a smart people and they play smart politics too). The alternative means is "true federalism". Under this arrangement the SS can have 100% resource control and in turn make contributions to the center; or at worst. be given a substantial derivation formula than what its getting currently. My guess is anything around 75% in this case and the SS will be satisfied. Under this scenario, the SS gets to eat its cake and have it. That is, they wouldn't and don't need to secede from Nigeria; and truth be told the SS do not want to secede from Nigeria. Give them total or much greater resource control and the SS will gladly continue with "One Nigeria". Because except for the problem of resource control, the SS ordinarily have no subconscious hate for Nigeria unlike the SE, who have vehemently refused to get over its case of retribution against Nigeria for the unfortunate civil war of 1967. Now, true federalism is the political future of Nigeria, the direction it's heading to. So in time, the SS if it holds on, will eventually get what it deserves. But right now isn't ripe due to the fact that the militant mafias are still very much active and extremely powerful forces negatively influencing the region's socioeconomic and political framework and huge obstacles to its development. There's a sensible reason the civilized world doesn't want a nuclear armed Iran; same way it would be a disaster to Nigeria to let the autonomous control of the SS resources fall into the crop of militant mafias currently bedeviling the region. After such are neutralized in terms of limiting their political and social influences, or put on shorter and shorter leashes like the ACN has been and is doing to OPC in the SW, then autonomy can follow in the SS. This is common sense.

Therefore, how ever you look at it, the SE is on its own in its self-made journey to its promised land of Biafra. Your subtle and open plans to carry the SS along won't work. In time, the SS will let you walk alone in the political wilderness.
