Your foolishness is terribly obvious. Since you don't like respect, tell your mad parents to come over to my house. They will do well sweeping the gutter unclad. They are not fit to enter my house because such useless camels produced such a brainless coward(you) and gave him a phone with Internet which they stole from idiots called relatives
Honestly, you are the idíot here.
The man's parent aren't on NL, so what's their business with his post.
Hypocrite. You call him disrespectful, but you do even worse.

All the comments I've seen so far you made the silliest one.... damn! U just let hate cloud your judgements..... why not go nd tell the whole yoruba tribe that they should go back to school because they bow to greet elders... your comment is just too blind... forget western culture... we are Africans... Nigerians to be precise,u should know how it's done here...some people even lay on the ground to greet you are here spewing trash embarassed

Blessing Morgan, damn me because my opinion is different from yours? Siliest because my point of view is different from what culture stipulates, yet we are talking of respect. Which I failed to see in your post. if you had taken a moment to think through my point. How on earth did you know if am not Yoruba?

Well let me give you something to chew on. Imagine two kids A and B walking down a path, ahead of them is an aged woman with shopping bags in both arms filled with groceries. Kid A walked up her greeted her as the custom demands, either lying on the floor or kneeling or bending a bit which the woman responds to with a smile. And kid A continues on his way. Then comes kid B, walks up to the old while standing straight looks her in the eyes and says 'excuse ma'am you mind if I help you with one of those bags?'. My dear assuming kid A and kid B are same in terms of age, state of health and other environmental/religious factor which of these kids would you consider to be respectful to people?

Amaechi is being respectful. I like him a lot as he has not let the fact he controls the destinies of many and literally billions of dollars blind him from what Nigeria needs. Amaechi will go down in history as one of the champions of democracy and a pivotally brave figure who stood up to be counted when Nigeria needed to defeat an ultra-corrupt and hideously terrible leader who was on course to making Nigeria a failed State like Afghanistan, Somalia, Iraq et al.
like d saying goes, prophets are not always respected in their home town. Amaechi will not be d first hero not 2 be appreciated by his people. He is a political general of Rivers state. He has out-classed all d past governors of this state. He is a presidential material 4 d future.

The people's general is 73 years old, Rotimi Amaechi is 49 years old. If Buhari started having kids at 23 years like his fellow Northerners, Buhari's first child would be 50 years old now, so Buhari is old enough to be Amaechi's father just as Ayodele Fayose said that Buhari is older than his mother.

In conclusion, Rotimi Amaechi could as well prostrate for Buhari because Buhari is old enough to be Rotimi's father.

What do you say about grandfather Ministers and PAs kneeling for imPatience Sheppopo?

I can see you like my name undecided
Mind you not everybody's mind could be as fast as kid B.... here I think emphasis is laid more on greeting not helping an old woman with groceries embarassed

Young man going through your posts on NL I can see you really can't engage in meaningful conversation without insult.

I pity you, well I am out, I wish you luck!
Young man,I understand the way you think. When opinion differs from yours it becomes an insult.
I sincerely understand you. Life is hard for the blind!

For those of you shouting respect, if this is how you show respect am sorry for you. You had better go get your money back from your school. That your society teaches you that this how you show respect does not mean it is right.

The reason your parents/community sent you to school is to learn and reason like human not swallow everything that society says because society says so.

I hope most of you kids on NL understand human psychology and body language. I wonder why people do not shake their interviewer like that during an interview, am sure that would show maximum respect.

am not trying to be tribalistic, but I could guess right the region you are from, those regions that shut up and down, slapped, and handshake their parents while standing you gone be.

Well the point of reference is what constitutes respect.

Bring it on. Ask FFK, Doyin Oku-igbe, Godsday Orubebe, Reno Omo-Kirikiri and other nonentities what they gained with all their senseless rants. Oh!, I forgot, FFK gained something, he gained Biaca's back on his bed and another Ibo teenager beauty contestant back on his hotel bed.

Respect is deep from the mind not all those showmanship.
Lots of whites dont bend down to greet but you see a lot of respect in their daily living with one another.
Respect is a thing of respect. There is a difference between respect and being servile. In that Pics, Ameachi looks servile and not respectful.

It's surprising because according to R/S PDP, Amaechi is used to disrespecting elders.

Obj did the same to GEJ..despite the fact say GEJ na small boy for hin side..its jst a sign of respect regardless of how clueless the head(president) may be.

it is only a clueless father that could have given birth to ppl like this. Jonthan had done his best. we shall see what buhari will do. Since the beginning Nigerians welcome every new president to abuse them later even military juntas.
