These are not the best of times for actress and Timaya's ex,Empress Njamah.
She's been having a legal battle with her landlord over her failure to pay rent for her business outlet in Abuja.
Judgement was given TODAY Friday, 17th April, 2015 about 3 hours ago.
Legal counsel,Cliff Otasowie to the plaintiff/Landlord made this document available.

The case was between
AKAMA PROPERTIES DEVELOPMENT LTD...PLAINTIFF
AND
EMPRESS NNENNA NJAMAH....DEFENDANT
(Trading in the name and Style of House of Empress)

Empress operates her business 'House of Empress' on the property of the plaintiff (Landlord) at No 4, Kudang Street, Wuse 11, Abuja. She came into the property on 6th October, 2011 having paid 2 years rent of N4, 080, 000.00 ( Four Million, Eighty Thousand Naira) from 6th October, 2011 to 5th October, 2013.


At the expiration of her two years rent on 5th October, 2013,Empress refused to move out of the premises, In spite of the service of Notice to Quit on her.


For almost 2years running she has refused to pay rent or move out of the property while still operating her business on the premises.


The Plaintiff approached the Magistrate Court at Wuse Zone 2 Abuja, on 10th June, 2014 for:

1. An Order granting immediate vacant possession of the Property to the Plaintiff.

2.And order for the payment of the Mesne profit (Rent) from 6th October, 2013 till judgment is delivered and possession given.


JUDGMENT:

1.The Court has ordered Empress Njamah to vacate the property within 14days from today.


2.The court also ordered her to pay all the outstanding rent from 6th October, 2013 till judgment is delivered and possession given running into millions of Naira.

Note: Failure to comply with the Court Judgement, the court would be compelled to forcefully eject her through the Court Enforcement Unit.
