chii8:No Chi, it wasn't the parents who over fed them. This is a genetic disorder. If you look at the photo you'll see another little girl there, definitely a sibling of theirs but she is normal in weight or maybe even thin. Can you say the parents werent feeding her while they fed the others? No. This is a genetic condition common amongst the Pima Indians. Health insttutes and researchers have been studying them for over 35 years now. The Pima seem to have a genetic predisposition to gain weight. So all any pima indian with that 'rogue gene' has to do is eat normal and he'll blow up. What the parents can do is take them to the hospital and seek help but starving them will yield zero result |
