Hello everyone. Pls i need your opinions o. I placed some orders from a UK store, and Fedex is their shipping partner. Its my first time of buying on this UK clothing site as well. Although, i never liked the idea of they shipping thru fedex cos i know how high they can be, but i had no choice but to gp ahead. The total amount of items is £163.88 shipping is £14.99 all totalling £178.87. Lo and behold, i got an invoice from fedex today saying my pacakage is dutiable and as such my customs duty bill is #37716.76. I was shocked to say the least. I called their customer care line and demanded how they arrived at such amount and the invoice to be reviewed and they said they will send a mail to me tommorow. I ship from other UK sites and the highest i av paid for customs is #6100 and lowest, #1600. Pls does anyone know id its possible to go to Nacho nd clear, pay and collect my goods without going thru fedex?
