On his part,highly unprofessional. On the HR's part highly over reactive.

It is allowed to send mail with ur phone provided u are on d field and d mail is time bound. E.g cheque confirmation by an account officer of a bank, who is presently out of office. That is even d more reason why ur official mail is configured to ur phone.

Mobile office 365 do not include your signature when sending a mail. You will need to add it yourself.

Please what is official mail? I have been sending my business mail through my blackberry to big companies abroad and they reply? What is the need for a smart phone if it can't help you when you are on the go

Like seriously who uses dat?? I personally find it annoying receiving mails with dat really dumb signature..

The problem is not the official mail, the problem is that dumb sent from my BlackBerry on official mail. If you have been doing it, you should replace it with your company contact

1- did the company permit staff to link their devices to their official mail? ( wait for ur company official policy/ guideline before telling hr that u r smart n u use a smart phone)
2-- if ur company permit 1 then its either u did not follow policy( policy would av stated aw to configure n what to edit) OR 3
3--- HR WANTED TO LAY U OFF.

plz, how do i change this signature of a thing, cos each time I sent message from my phone, it usually display "sent from opsson smartphone" from receiver's end.

He had a crime he had committed. That was not the first time. That was just the culmination of everything he has done wrong. He must have been warned severally in the past.
