We forgive you but revenge is still necessary.

the impeachment machinery against him should be properly oiled, fayose apology has no iota of sincerity, he has stepped on the mandate of 19 law makers, by suspending them using the police and thugs to enforce it. if it will take the last day of mandate of the 19 lawmakers to impeach fayose, so be it.

that a criminal or idiott is loved by some lousy people is no justification for the law not to take its place

Ayo fayose is not a fool. He knows his days are numbered as Gov. I have never seen anyone celebrating victory over perceived enemies yet craving their forgiveness.

Dear Gov Ayo Fayose,
Buhari never enter you don dey beg for forgiveness. I gave good news for you. After May 29th, the courts will be really independent without bias. If your hands are clean of any allegation then keep smiling for no one can do you injustice BUT bros, if your hands no clean, no Jupiter can save you because the allegations on you has already impeached God in your case.

I for one would advice the 19 lawmakers to skealth their swords and reach out to Fayose or rather find a soft landing on this issue. Those advising them are their worst enemies than Fayose. My reasons are that, ever since they left their legislative duties, their pays have been stoped. It may never be paid as this impeachment exercise is an action in futility. Secondly, they may lose big time their exit allowances if the government insists that they have been expelled. Thirdly, none of them is coming back to the house. Even if they succeed in this "gamble" removing Fayose and deputy, they cannot become the next government. At best only Omirin could benefit in being sworn in as acting-governor and again, he would have 26 PDP lawmakers to contend with from May 29.

All in all, they stand to lose at the end of the day. Worse still, there is the state chief judge who would not like to taint his enviable career on the altar of satisfying some aggrieved lawmakers who have just a month tenure to his over 20 years career and future. No right thinking judge would fall for such trap. Also, the clerk wants to retain his job as the new speaker (PDP) may dispense with him if he misbehaves. The biggest odd against the impeachment exercise is that the House rule requires that you do not hold legislative affairs outside the hallow chambers without the MACE and other symbol of authority of the Ekiti House of Assembly, so all actions taken could be thrown out of the wind by a single legal pronouncement.

Let us even assume that the Chief Judge hearkens to Omirin and constitutes a panel, what is the guarantee that PDP would not influence the composition? Unlike in the case of Nyako, the Judge could toe the path taken by the former Nasarawa chief judge in picking APC members as members of the panel. So, in the end, Omirin and co-travellers may just be fighting a lost battle, as the CJ can just pick Fayose's men who would find him not guilty.

My candid advice is that they (19 lawmakers) should reach an agreement with Fayose to reinstate them and let them have their unpaid salaries and allowances and be assured of their exit gratuities and pensions. If they insist on this their mission, I can bet that they will lose big time. Today, some people are urging them on, but in few months' time, I can bet you that they would be forgotten. I guess someone would say money is not everything, but I can assure you that a politician that has lost flavour in his community as these 19 are currently and still lose his allowances would be worse off. Today, they are neither sure of their position as lawmaker nor are they sure of their success in this mission. One thing is sure though and that is that they are out of legislative affairs come May 29.

Please, if your husband happens to be among them, prevail on him to leave Omirin on his selfish agenda with Falana and join hand with Fayose to move Ekiti state forward. This is my candid opinion.

There's no sympathy for Fayose, not with all these obvious impunity on ground..... cool

We shall reap the fruits of our labour no be curse.... cool

There are ACTIONS and there are CONCIQUENCIES.
That's why we have a SCALE of JUSTICE.

Damages/Crime on one side of the scale, Compensation/punishment on the other side of the scale to balance equation.

Justice MUST prevail @ all cost.
Impunity must end.... sad

Simple!!!

many peoople only choose to see what they want to see. Go through the article and u will see that fayose made a general statement ,obvuously his political enemies aren't limited to apc only and he only appealed for peace to move the state forward. Do ppl expect him to go for prayers in the mosque and start boasting or to start making threat?? This is a normal political statement used by politicians all the time . The point is fayose is going nowhere ,he will complete his 4years as governor of ekiti state.By may 29 we shall see who laughs last.

Shut up the smelling gutter you call a mouth dumbo. Same way you were shouting like a raped cow that PDP will win all elections and APC will suffer and lose Lagos. We all warned you dirty thing then, but you cursed us while boasting and beating your dry hairy chest. Come to Nigeria and stop posting trash from the one room jungle of Ghana. Simple
