They have vowed openly that even if GMB win election, they will not hand over to him rather to the military. Top PDP leaders and spokespersons have sworn in public that GMB can never be president of this country again. Just think of it, is it not wise to be suspicious when someone said u are going to die soon and the person is giving u food to eat. APC and the president-elect got to be careful with PDP.

i read about this Mozabican that was attacked yesterday and was bashed seriously and he was later stabbed in the heart and he died few minutes later... So, what exactly is holding GEJ from handing over to the military today

Who said that GMB will die soon? ..and why can't Buhari bring his own food and other itineraries along ..or decide not to eat and drink ..the same thing they said he wanted to kidnap JEGA.

He wants to do the paper work on May 28 on a business mode and continue with fanfares, jamboree, parade on democracy day ..May, 29.

APC should quit acting childish, abeg. We ain't in the 60's.

Director, Media and Communication of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Garba Shehu, has described the transition committee, set up by President Goodluck Jonathan, as trickish.

The committee set up by Jonathan, who lost the March 28 presidential election, is expected to meet with the one to be set up by the President-elect, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari(retd.), ahead of the May 29 inauguration of the new administration.
But Shehu, in an opinion article, which he released on Sunday, said Jonathan’s committee was constituted by “the worst of our prejudices.”
He warned the Buhari-led incoming administration to be careful about its choice of people who would constitute its own version of the committee.
He stated, “The President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has earned an incredibly high amount of goodwill following his acceptance of the outcome of the election, which itself had the effect of de-escalating tensions not just among Nigerians but all over the continent.

“But the President’s committee on transition and handover looks to be a trickish one. It seems to be like one drawn to ‘massage’ the numbers and ensure safety for ‘team Jonathan’.

“Some names on that list have certainly made the eyes pop out of their sockets. In the President’s list, you have men and women who reflect the worst of our prejudices; men and women who have made themselves the mouthpieces for everything regressive.

“This is one reason why President Buhari and his party cannot be too careful on choosing who they will give their part of the assignment to. There is no room for complacency in doing this either. Nothing that puts the new government at a risk should be allowed to happen.”

Shehu, who warned that politicians should be excluded from the committee to be set up by Buhari, insisted that the committee should be peopled by technocrats.

If GEJ want to handover to the military, he should just do it on his own and bear the glory but should not involve the incoming govt on an abnormal handover ceremony that will create constitutional question an vacuum under which anarchy can thrive.
Its a pity u are pretending as if u are not in this country during campaign for the last election during which there are several press release by PDP campaign media team on GMB sickness and imminent death; also the are newspaper advertorial almost on daily basis by a PDP governor on GMB imminent death and the need to avoid another state burial if GMB is voted as president.
APC is only creating public awareness on the happenings in nigerian politics. The generality of Nigerians will not be surprised any long if there is any deviation from the usual table manner during any dinner to be organized by PDP outgoing govt.
It is true that we are not in the 60's and that is why an incumbent president can be defeated in an election. And that is why president-elect in Nigeria will not experience what happened to MKO Abiola that is still fresh in our memory.
